Michel figured that not getting stabbed was the better part of valor, and retreated with everyone else.

The company fell back, taunting Carantha to pursue them into the relatively open field of the road.

"How cute," Carantha laughed. "They think they can draw me out!"

Swooping down to rest her steed upon one of the mountain's lower peaks, she called out with a smirk, "What's the matter, you bandits? Are you afraid of three little ladies on horseback?"

• Carantha moves to I13 and prepares an attack (Short Spear).
• Vissan 10 moves to J13.
• Vissan 11 moves to J12.
• Vissan 23 appears at U17.
• Vissan 24 appears at T18.
• Vissan 25 appears at U19.

Round 6 Deadline: 9:00pm PST, 5/16.

"You think we would cower against such frail, delicate flowers as yourselves?" Véronique roared as she drove Athena towards her enemies. She drew back her bow with all of her strength, taking aim at one of the annoyances guarding the head Pegasus Knight. "Come test your mettle, see what breaks."

She fired off two shots in quick succession at the target, shouting as she did so.

Move to J15 (in a path that does NOT get into the range of the prepared attack). Attack J13.

If Malia danced to give her that first action, then for a second action if J13 is still alive, attack him again. If not, prepare attack.

Sophia just kind of blinked somewhat confused as the lady on the Pegasus taunted them. "I'm sorry, this isn't a game. Please step aside." She said following Vera.

Move to J16 prepare to Heal Vera should she go down below half health

Grendan rolled his eyes at both the enemy's and Vera's taunts before telling the former, "You know as well as I do that bigger doesn't necessarily mean better. I'm quite sure you've fought bigger enemies as often as I have, and we're both here." He shook his head as he moved to cover his ally. "In fact, I'm willing to bet that the entire reason we're both alive right now is caution. You've obviously trained your pegasus for low-altitude flying so you can take cover, and I refuse to fly solo if I have a choice in the matter."

Move to K16, prepare attack with Throwing Knives.

It looked like they weren't coming out of hiding anytime soon.

Zeera went forward with the others, though her position seemed extremely exposed.

Move to H15. Prepare to attack any enemy that gets within range with thunder tome.

Looks like the group will have to move up on them. So be it.

Move to H17 and prepare attack for range with Throwing Knives.

Move to H16, trade Speedwing for Vulnerary, move to I16, prepare Flux

Move to H16 and prepare an attack with the Iron Bow.

"Tasha! No!" Carantha cried as her wingwoman plummeted from the sky, and she turned her furious gaze upon Vera. "You've taken a dear friend from me. Now I'll take one of yours in return!"

• Carantha moves to H13 and attacks Zeera (Short Spear)!
  • Carantha's attack misses.
  • Zeera's prepared attack deals 8 damage to Carantha (24/32).

"Dammit!" Carantha hissed as her spear hissed through the air, missing Zeera by a hair's breadth before the mage's thunderbolt struck her. "Yalla! Regroup with the others and hit their flank!"

• Vissan 11 moves to O15.
• Vissan 23 moves to P15.
• Vissan 24 moves to P16.
• Vissan 25 moves to P17.

On the east side of the river a courier appeared, his horse slowing down only to flash a salute to the standing guards as he hurried toward the fort where Silva Arknight stood, looking over the checkpoint. At his approach, she looked down upon him, observing the uniform of a military courier.

""Lady Arknight," he called up, "I bring word from Mr. Herlock. He wishes to see you at once regarding your father."

Silva frowned. ""Herlock? Very well, I will see him immediately. Tell Commander Maelius I have business to attend to, and that I will return shortly. I trust he can handle this rabble without me.""

• Silva departs the battlefield.
• Vissan 26 appears at P7.

Well, Grendan probably wouldn't get a better shot than the enemy was giving him now; might as well head in and try to overwhelm her with as many attacks as possible.

Move to H12, attack Carantha with Iron Lance.

Okay, this time Sophia climbed up the hill, to attack Carantha.

Move to I14, after everyone else attack Carantha(Fire Tome), if Carantha is dead Heal the most damaged person within range.

That spear almost hit her, but Zeera was swift enough to dodge out of the way, and her spell had still hit despite the pegasus's low flying.

Grendan seemed to swoop around, so Zeera perched herself on a hill up ahead.

Move to G12. If Carantha isn't already dead, use thunder tome on Carantha. Otherwise, prepare thunder tome to attack any enemy that comes within range.

"You bring shame to those who soar through the sky on Pegasi, whoring your services to the dogs of Vissan!" Vera growled at Carantha. "I only pray your steed will be spared your fate."

Vera to I12. Attack H13. If she's already dead, prepare attack instead.

If that first move was because Malia moved to I15 and danced her, then if Carantha is still alive, attack her again. Otherwise, fly to F8 and prepare attack.

Perfect! It was time to take the chance that was here and strike! Well, it was good that Railen took this along...

Move to G13 and attack Carantha with Lancereaver if she's not dead. If she is dead then still move to G13 but prepare attack with Lancereaver.

Move to G14, attack Carantha with Flux. Otherwise prepare attack with Flux.

Move to H15 and attack Carantha with the Iron Bow. If she's already dead, prepare an attack with the Iron Bow instead.

"D-damn it," Carantha groaned as Vera's arrows pierced her armor, biting deep into her chest. "Yalla... you always said to be careful what I wished for...."

She slumped in her saddle, her blood pouring down to stain her pegasus' white coat as it carried her body back toward her base.

• Eridan moves to G14 and prepares an attack (Flux Tome).

"Carrie!" her last remaining wingman screamed. Tears streamed past a face of fury as she gripped her sword tighter and winged back around to face her leader's killers. "We were going back home to Murinor together... I'll hunt down every last one of you bandit bastards!"

• Vissan 11 moves to J14 and attacks Sophia (Lancereaver)!
  • Vissan 11's attack deals 5 damage to Sophia (14/19).
• Vissan 23 moves to K14 and attacks Sophia (Steel Bow)!

The enemy squad's commander seemed to run out of luck surprisingly quickly, not that Grendan could complain about that. Now to get to work on the squad itself.

"Nice shot there," he complimented Vera as he passed by. "Didn't think you could get a clear shot with how low she was flying, but you seem to have managed well enough."

If Vissan 11 is not dead after Veronique's turn: Move to J13, attack Vissan 11 with Iron Sword. Otherwise, move to J14 and attack Vissan 23 with Iron Lance.

Sophia sighed a little, relieved that they had won but the battle was far from over. She turned to face the other Pegasus knights and prepared to use her staff's healing magic once again.

If Vissan 11 dies, move to J13 and Heal Grendan. If they are alive, stay sill and heal self.

The lead pegasus was dead, so now it was time to clean up the others.

If I14 becomes available, move to I14. Use Thunder Tome on either Vissan 24 or Vissan 23, in that order of preference.

Otherwise, if H15 becomes available, move to H15. Use Thunder Tome on Vissan 24 if it's still alive. Prepare to attack any enemy that comes within range with Thunder Tome otherwise.

If none of the above options are available, move to H14. Attack Vissan 11 with thunder tome if it's still alive. Prepare attack with Thunder Tome otherwise.

"Thanks, I'm sure you say that to all the girls," Véronique said to Grendan, giving him a cocky grin as she pushed her mount onwards, towards the attacking pegasi.

Before Grendan and Sophia's turns. Move to J12. Attack J14.

Well, that went well for the group. Railen took note of the Pegasus squad and moved in to match up against them.

Move to H16 and prepare attack for range with Lancereaver.
