Véronique quickly moved her steed to action, while shuffling out her scroll and pulling out her bow instead. She pulled back sturdily on her bowstring as she launched herself into the fray.

Move to L19. Equip bow. Attack Vissan 3 at M18.

"Not the most reliable spell. I suppose it's time for the old standby." Eridan said as he switched out Luna for the Flux tome, before moving into position to attack again.

"Malia!" Eridan snapped his fingers as he pointed towards their quartermaster in the back. "Get over here into position. We will need your help in the next attack."

Move to I18, attack Vissan 7 with Flux.

Additionally, requesting that Malia move to I19 and Stamina Zeera if Vissan 6 or 7 are left alive. If none are left alive, then Grace Eridan.

Michel gave himself a quick self-congratulation for hitting with an unfamiliar bow before moving in to attack the pegasi again.

If V Issan 6 is not dead, attack it with the Iron Bow. Otherwise, move to I19 and attack Vissan 7 with the Iron Bow. If they're both dead, move to I19 and prepare an attack with the Iron Bow.

Railen went in to start attacking a pegasi target.

Move to G19 and attack Vissan 6 with the Lancereaver if target is still alive. If dead, move to G18 and attack Vissan 7 with Steel Sword. If both targets are dead, move to G18 and defend with Steel Sword.

Railen moved to the side of the archer. No way could he be hit by a arrow like this.

Grendan hesitated a moment after the enemy pegasus fell, assessing enemy positions (especially that ballista) and debating who to assist, before flying to assist his allies.

After Eridan's and Malia's turns: If Vissan 9 is not dead, go to L14 and attack him with Iron Sword; if he is dead but Vissan 8 is not, go to K14 and attack with Iron Lance; if both are dead but Vissan 5 is not, move to H17 and attack him with Iron Lance; if all of the above are dead but Vissan 4 is not, move to H17 and attack Vissan 4 with Throwing Knives; if all 4 of the previously-mentioned enemies are dead, go to Q22 and prepare attack with Iron Lance.

Zeera watched the area around her, waiting to see where she was needed.

If Vissan 8 is still alive after Eridan attacks it, and if K15 becomes available after that, move to K15 and attack Vissan 8 with thunder tome.

If Vissan 5 is alive, move to I17 and attack Vissan 5 with thunder tome.

If Vissan 4 is alive move to F19 and attack Vissan 4 with thunder tome.

Otherwise, move to K15 or J15 and prepare to attack any enemy that comes within range.

"Okay Malia, here's what we're going to do. We will... you know what, just follow me."

Move to K15, attack Vissan 8 with Flux. If danced, move to L15, attack Vissan 9 with Flux.

"Well that's one cluster dealt with," Véronique said as her arrow killed one of the Vissan forces. She pressed her knees into Athena and flew off into the fray.

Oh boy, another pair of Vissan soldiers. Michel wondered if they would ever attack in greater numbers, but considering that these enemies seemed to be much better equipped than previous encounters, he decided that he'd rather they didn't.

If Vissan 5 is still alive and H18 is available, move there and attack him. If Vissan 5 is dead and Vissan 6 isn't, move to E18 and attack him. If they're both dead, move to J19 and prepare an attack with the Iron Bow.

The Vissan swordsman grit his teeth and bore through both Sophia's fireball and Grendan's lance, and managed to dodge Vera's first shot, but as her second arrow flew his luck and endurance ran out, and the missile dropped him to the ground. His partner, the archer, ducked under Railen's sword, but, perhaps surprised that she chose to engage him from his own optimal fighting range, was unable to evade Zeera's wrathful bolts. Eridan charged forward, uncharacteristically reckless as he hurled orbs of darkness at the spearman with such abandon that his first shot nearly missed. Malia hurried after him, the still-unfamiliar adrenaline of battle pounding in her ears as she caught up and hurriedly flowed from a run into her dance, finishing as the mage slammed two more sinister bolts into the hulking axe fighter.

"Heh, they've got some skill," Carantha admitted, watching the battle from her high perch, her trained eyes taking in every detail of the fighting without need of a spyglass. A shiver of excitement ran up her spine. "Call back the other patrols! I want an audience."

They got rid of most of the Vissan troops nearby, but things seemed unusually quiet now.

There wasn't really much Zeera could do but move forward.

Move to E16. Prepare to attack any enemy that comes within range with thunder tome.

Sophia kept on trucking, making sure to keep an eye out for enemy soldiers.

Move to G15, Heal self.

"Not sure I'm up to fighting those pegasi up ahead- they seem prepared for pretty much anything," Grendan muttered. "And I don't think it's a good idea to leave enemies behind us, either..."

If Veronique is performed and she is ordered to perform Grendan, move to L20 before her move, then subsequently to G22 after being performed and prepare attack with Iron Lance. Otherwise, hold still and defend.

Vera to D15. Prepare attack.

The company once again moved forward, taking up defensive positions and readying their strikes for any foe who might try to attack. Malia frowned, though. Most of them had formed up well beyond where she expected any of the enemy could reach. All except for Sophia, who seemed to be tempting fate by taking the center alone, and so Malia dashed to give her what assistance she could.

That one pegasus rider seemed to be weaving through the hills and mountains up ahead.

"Maybe we should fall back a bit."

Move to F18. Prepare to attack any enemy that comes within range with thunder tome.

Grendan nodded at Zeera's suggestion. "Yes, falling back is good, considering their weapons. We can counterattack when they get close enough to pick our targets."

Move to H20 and defend.

"Form up then, we'll hit them with a unified front," Vera said as she regrouped.

Move to G17. Prepare attack.
