Dragon Lord Lands

"Brond!" Nyt yelled out as she recovered and slammed into Brond in return, before raising her hands, and snapping her fingers, her wings catching fire at the snap. She twirled around, feathers flaming feathers shooting out of her wings towards the Dragon Lord that had pursued her. "So they sent you, huh? What, they couldn't be bothered to send anyone of a higher caste? Thought that I would in my nostalgia for my own people let myself be peacefully slain!? Or perhaps, you thought that you could go after me on your own to gain favor in the tribe and rise up! All of these seem very likely, after all. When have you ever stood a chance against me?" Nyt's eyes burned with rage as she walked towards Brond, drawing her khopesh. Yet the image was broken by the tears that streamed down her face. "And now you abandon and condemn me. You and all the others."

Forest

"My clan has only recently spotted more of these "empire" people, but the fact that the scouts we sent were found dead by some of their weapons worries me." Kagura said before looking at the others. "I believe I introduced myself already though, but I'm Kagura Kazeuoka, daughter of the chieftess of the Lupus Clan, Kaede Kazeuoka. And I wouldn't mind heading to my destination with you all as long as none of you decide to mess with my zen-thing."

Skies of Dragon Lands

"Fuck! Shit! Ouch! Hey! Stop!" On the last thunderclap Cantilever stopped wincing from every punctuation and cracked his own whip back at the newcomer. "This girl's apparently something called a Phoenix. I don't know what that is, but I was supposed to have a fight with her and that backwards dickhead is in my way. Is this some superstitious dark magic bullshit or something?"

On second thought, maybe the whip wasn't going to be good for these people. The scales of the Dragon clan would prevent his whip from causing a great deal of damage. Likewise, fighting outside of Carapace was a fool's errand. As Cantilever listened to a response, or the lack thereof, he swapped over to the flail at his hip and shifted his Beacon around his body to properly wear it, rather than stand on it. He dematerialized the helmet, however; in a three-dimensional fight like these folks could have, the limited field of view would be bad.

Koriana: Forest Meeting

Kori nodded as the other's introduced themselves, a small frown still on her face. It chafed at her pride that she needed them to get to civilization, but common sense and curiosity won today.

Kori resisted the urge to snort. Truly, a rare moment for a Dragon. Father would be having a fit if he knew.

The Wolf's introduction in particular piqued her interest the most. An heiress like herself, and one who didn't seem to be trying to prove herself? Well, then...

"A pleasure to meet all of you. Now that that's settled, we should get moving before the sun sets. Speaking of that...does anyone have a map? Like I said, I'm fucking lost."

She shrugged again. "Also, you, Wolf, Kagura, right? When we find the time, fight me. I want to see your strength."

Forest

Kagura simply chuckled at Kori's insistence on fighting her when they got the chance.

"You're one of those combat-loving types, I see. Reminds me of some other members of my clan back home. But I might be willing to have a spar once we find the time, if I'm not catching up on my daily meditation and all.", she commented.

Kori might've noticed that the wolf woman had a naginata on her back as well.

Dragon Lords' Peaks

"Tch." Brond had brought out his axe in preparation for their conflict, swatting aside the feathers Nyt sent directly at him and letting himself feel the stings of the rest making contact with his scales. "You know that this is our way, Nyt. The Dragon Lords must hunt the last Phoenix. And there you were, living among us in plain sight."

The Dragon Lord seemed to ignore the Thunderbird clan member's display of force, even relishing in how it added to the mood of the moment between him and the newly-revealed Phoenix as the heat figuratively and literally built up in the area. "I wonder if our hunt would finally end if I ate you before you died. Heh, I hope you taste good..."

Righteous Empire.

Quietly munching on a roll of bread while slouching in his chair, he had to take a double-take at a certain noble present sitting RIGHT NEXT to him. ...It must've been that dreadfully dull for Stewart to not even notice as he simply kicked back on his chair, Beacon keeping him upright as he gave a slight, if friendly smirk at Set.

"...So, what plans did YOU have in mind before getting the call that you had to fill in for someone else being here?"

Koriana: Forest Meeting

Kori grinned at Kagura before shooting her a thumbs up.

"I look forward to it. I want to see how strong I've gotten."

Next, she crossed her arms and glanced at everyone else.

"Now, does anyone have any idea where we're going?"

Sethan: With the Nobles

Set frowned and glanced towards the one who addressed him. He relaxed slightly when he recognized Stewart.

"Good grief..." he muttered, adjusting his hat.

"I wanted to be here. Lysandre is neutral on the war, and I don't know how he would have voted. If I hadn't been called, I'd have insisted on coming along." Set replied, keeping his glare leveled at the opposite side of the table.

Guang refrained from introducing himself when the others did. He didn't think he'd be sticking around the group much, and besides, he knew his last name would clue the others as to his origins. He didn't want to spend time explaining to strangers that no, he was not part of the Empire anymore when it would be quicker and less stressful to just not even bring it up in the first place.

He did speak up, though, when the Dragon asked about where they were doing. "...Sorry, but I don't know either..."

Nobles.

Exhaling and cracking his neck, Stewart kept up the slight, if bitter smile. "Heh. I suppose if he was still around...he would've likely said the same thing, just without the neutral part. ...Sure, it'd be nice, but I don't think some of the old duffs are going to agree with that." He idly commented, looking a little annoyed.

"I mean, come on, if we have a disagreement, we should be settling it with out fists, not wasting time going on and on and twiddling our thumbs waiting for the old-timers to finish their one-sided argument. I mean, if it keeps being THIS boring, I might go see if that door-guard out there wants a punch-up to kill some time."

Dragon Lords' Peaks

"Go ahead and try Brond!" Nyt cried out as she shifted her form, assuming a more familiar form to her, her draconic scales emerging, and a reptilian tail replacing that of her tail feathers. The claws on her feet grew larger and more menacing and horns erupted from her head as her wings became feathers spawning from a batlike wing structure. She let out a low growl as fire streamed from the edges of her mouth and blades, and she charged in towards Brond, her blades whirling about her in a storm of fire, blade, and chain.
