Yeah probably, if Golden is anything to go by.
This song needs more love.3rd palace, Curse amped Heavy Darkness skills are doing 450-500 points of damage. Love that.
...
So... Okamura's palace is done, and they are waiting for a change of heart...This one is gun be painful.
Got my first look at...that damn dirty traitor as well. I wonder if that thing about there being two Goro's that someone mentioned earlier is for real. I doubt they'd cop out like that though.
One Strip! One Strip! At this rate Rob, I might lap the LP you're watching and be done with New Game Plus before that guy finishes.
I'd personally swap out Psiodyne for Enduring Soul, but that's just me.
I've started the new game+. Interesting how they give you a way to fast-forward a previously romanced confidant.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.Psiodyne isn't meant to be a permanent skill, but that's a good suggestion. I was just gonna go with Drain Ice once that opened up.
And I agree about the romance coupon. Makes pursuing one with all the female characters worth it for new playthroughs. I got Ann's first, and this time I'm aiming for Makoto.

My logic there is that "Evade Bless" isn't going to help against Hama skills.
I picked Hard difficulty again. I'll be interested to see if I can one-round Kamoshida's palace when I have no SP worries, since you won't have any skills that can burn SP faster than you can earn it at that point.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television. Not sure which Persona thread this would go under, but apparently Persona 5 is so badly translated that someone made an entire website about it.

The Protomen enhanced my life.Just reading the first couple of examples, he's being super nitpicky.
This song needs more love.Yeah I've seen many complaints that a lot of the dialogue reads like anime subtitles rather than anything natural, which can get especially awkward when those lines get voiced.

It's not badly translated, it's just could've had better editing. There are a lot of typos and poorly worded sentences spread throughout a huge mountain of text and mostly smoothed over by the voice acting. You might notice a few of them as you play, but it's nothing that ruins the game or anything.
Frankly, I find that sort of exaggeration ("Atlus has done a disservice to its fans!") rather offensive actually. How many of these people have actually tried to edit a text this large, one that also needs to be finalized sooner rather than later because they need to ship a script to the recording studio? Could it have been better? Yeah, probably. But it could also have been a whole lot worse. I've translated entire games before and it is a fucking Sisyphean task. I have nothing but respect for the people who worked on this.

The inconsistencies and pronunciations are my biggest problems but meh.
What games have ya translated?
My only issue was when people started using honorifics & that's only cause I'm unfamiliar with how the thing works. Like its natural to refer to a stranger as chan like how everyone started calling Futaba, Futaba-Chan despite not even knowing her right?
Its more of a minor issue even then since I don't focus on it much.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I just saw it as Makoto and Ann trying to relate to Futaba.
Using honorifics in English translations needs to die though.
They are very inconsistent with honorifics in general, but with the game set in Japan and set so deep in Japanese culture they need to be there.
Calling her Futaba-chan before getting to know her is 100% correct, using a name without honorifics implies extreme familiarity. Asking to drop the honorifics is quite embarrassing and a Relationship Upgrade.

They are pretty handy at times. Persona 4's navigation would have been a pain without Rise being able to use "Senpai".
This song needs more love.Ah alright then.
Just sounds weird to me then cause its in English.
I mean its pretty funny when Ryuji is all "English is so hard" & "When are we ever gonna use this?".
I imagine the VA snickered a bit when he uttered those lines, heheh.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Senpai is the one I'm okay with because it's, like, a title I guess. It sounds fine in English.
Wow, Mishima's kind of an asshole isn't he?
That was why they went with "Joker" as a codename in P5.
Rise being a year younger and using 'Senpai' in P4 was a way to get around using your name, Ted's "Sensei" was the same. In P3 Fuuka was the same age and had to dance around using your name and it sucked.
A special kind of one yeah.

x2 Mishima's Confidant is fantastic. It's so much better than if he were a generic nice guy.
I still wanted to bang him, though.
I appreciate Mishima's efforts & he is genuinely useful but he does let his self-esteem issues cloud his judgement.
He is a little bit annoying though. He's a bit too much of a try-hard & a fanboy that you can't help but shake your head at him.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Mishima's alright.
I'm gonna say no, because Only Orpheus, Izanagi, Maya, Apollo, Radamantheus and Eros can achieve Super Sayajin powers, and of those 6, the former two are the only ones capable of reach SSGSS.
