Move it please. Ghostbusters: Answer the Call is the correct title.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickIf the YMMV and Trivia pages must remain locked, then maybe a mod would have to perform the rename.
I was going to say "why not turn Film.Ghostbusters into a redirect for the two Film/ pages, but since Film.Ghostbusters covers both the original and its sequel, I vote we move the 1984 film page to just Film.Ghostbusters.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.We have the precedent of The X-Files: Fight the Future, another film which had a tagline become its subtitle.
However, I seriously doubt Answer the Call is common enough at this time to be a good name for the page. IIRC, "most recent name" isn't intended to apply to this sort of situation.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool. It's the name that the film was released in theatres under and the one on the title card.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickIf you're talking about Ghostbusters, when I went to the cinemas it was just called Ghostbusters and there was no "Answer the Call" on the title card. It was there on the posters, but as a tagline, not part of the title.
I say we keep it as is for now, since it's the title it was released under on its theatrical release and is sufficiently distinguished from the 1984 version to avoid confusion. I suspect that most people will also know it / refer to it as a variation on "The 2016 Ghostbusters", whereas adding the subtitle might create a bit more ambiguity. In any case, we should probably leave any retitling until after the DVD / Blu-Ray has been released and the subtitle becomes more widely known and established.

The DVD release uses Answer the Call.
Illuminate!Issue solved, then. Time to move page contents and make redirects.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Whoa, hold up.
At the time this original thread was posted, we already knew the DVD release would be using Answer The Call as a semi-subtitle. However, take a look at this Amazon.com listing - the film is clearly listed without a subtitle.
Furthermore, I must once again stress that "most recent official English name" isn't necessarily applied to the names of works originally released in English. Even if ATC is a confirmed subtitle on DVD release, we have the option of leaving it as year-disambiguation if we want to.
The common English name of this film is Ghostbusters without a subtitle, and it will remain so for the foreseeable future. I know we are not Wikipedia, but we should adapt their common-name policy for this situation.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Look we should use it, it's more of a subtitle than a tagline.
Both titles are valid, but it's better known as Ghostbusters 2016 than Answer the Call because the former was used for the theatrical release. It'd make the most sense to make Ghostbusters: Answer the Call a re-direct and put a note in the opening paragraph that it was also referred to that in some advertising and the home video release.
The whole point of "Answer the Call" was to differentiate it from the old movie. Specifically to avoid having to use a year to differentiate it. Seems kinda backwards not to use it.
I'd also use the subtitle for the sake of convenience and differentiating between the two movies on the wiki.

Does it sound worth mentioning that even in theaters, the end credits said, "Ghostbusters: Answer the Call"?
It's listed as Ghostbusters (2016) on IMDb and as Ghostbusters (2016 film) on the Other Wiki (although that page mentions the other title in the lede).
The poster shown on the IMDb page above has "Answer the Call" at the top of the page, totally separate from the title at the bottom, as if it were a tag-line.
The other wiki's discussion points out that the opening credits simply say Ghostbusters, even if the ending credits add "Answer the Call".
Most people, I suspect, simply think it's called Ghostbusters, and would be surprised to have to add a subtitle they may never have heard of to find it. (Though that may start to change as more people buy the home edition.)
I think we should have both, with one as a redirect. I don't have strong feelings about which should be the "real" name, though (though I mildly lean towards "(2016)" just for consistency with the rest of the world).
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee. If no one has anything else to add, should a crowner be made?
I suggest we make Ghostbusters: Answer the Call redirect to Ghostbusters (2016), that way if someone does type in the former they still get what they're looking for.
Oissu!Crowner hooked.
Consensus is to redirect the subtitled title to the current work page location, and it also leans in favour of keeping the current title.
I've added the redirect. If no further issues present we shall close. Clocking to force resolution.

Seconded.

Crown Description:
What would be the best way to fix the page?
With the end credits and advertising calling this movie, Ghostbusters: Answer the Call, should we do the same, and also move Film.Ghostbusters 1984 back to Film.Ghostbusters, or does that sound like too much work?
