Okay, Cliff, just keep tearing my heart out. >:'C
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youI don't know how I feel about this thread title. Even Oscar thinks that sort of thing is creepy
It was kind of a joke.
How does one change it?
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for you-shrugs-
Meh.
DISCLAIMER: TITLE IS JOKE.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youIs the website slow for anyone else?
It's okay for me.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youTo change a thread title, holler a mod.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Perhaps it would just be easier to have the writer/illustrator change the name of the webcomic to match the thread title, instead of the other way around?
Let's be honest, "Cliff is totally hot for Oscar" was probably the working title anyway.
Dreamkeepers Prelude, check it out!Yea but we're really skirting that pedophilia line. It's a good ship, but one part is under age
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youEbebophilia is the word you're looking for.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.I know that, but that word just doesn't have the same weight.
Awwwww, bonding
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youOscar's face just keeps getting prettier.
Stahp
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youThread title changed per request.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThank you!
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youI'm really behind on this one (read the first ... four chapters? if the one with the witch was the fourth), but I love the art and characters and several things, so I'll have to catch up on it when I've got the time and mood.
Thanks for getting the thread renamed - I'd not have posted here otherwise. That ship is No Yay for me, it's like a Mentor Ship.
Stuff that is good in this webcomic:
Slice of Life and supernatural probably-horror are an awesome combination! At least the way Pascalle Lepas does it. Just ... we're playing card games with Sylvia and getting almost killed by trees, and there's no contradiction in tone. (Also I like that she takes slice-of-life a lot farther than I see in ... anything, since I mostly read/watch fantasy & sci-fi. That gas station at the very beginning is an unusual thing to see in such a purty art style, and a character in chapter ... 3? ... is pregnant because just sometimes people are. It's just great.)
Intergenerational Friendship to the max. Sylvia's so mid-twentieth-century! (My grandparents play card games all the time, at least by my standards.) Oscar's one of the more sedate 21st-century adults. (By "sedate" I mean he doesn't swear a lot; my online experience says almost no one under thirty-five puts any particular weight on the F-word.) Cliff's a cliche foul-mouth teenager but with more to him. (What with Oscar's cleanliness of mouth and Cliff's idea that rebellion involves tongue piercing, I would think this took place in the '80s or '90s if it weren't for Oscar's phone. But of course Podunk is going to be a bit behind the fashion!) I just love all their interactions with each other.
Art. Art art art art.
Native American mythology. Is there any way you can make bad things out of Native American mythology?
You can, if you do it without research. Aside from that, nope.
Gunnerkrigg Court pulls the trickster Coyote from N.A. lore. It's fantastic too.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youI've been intrigued about Gunnerkrigg Court for a while - nother thing to check out. And yeah, Coyote is one of the things that interests me most in that webcomic.

Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youGosh, Oscar-Sylvia-Cliff, be happy forever
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youIs there such a thing as shipping a parental relationship? Because more and more I ship Oscar as Cliff's Dad.
While age of consent in Oklahoma is 16, I just don't see them in a non-platonic relationship. I'd rather see Cliff find a cute animal-person close to his age.
I think "shipping" is suppposed to cover all relationships, but it mostly is used to talk about couples.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youI'm caught up again and it's awesome.
Does anyone else zoom in to 200% while reading this comic to look closer at the art? It looks as if the artist draws the pages big, then publishes them small. The fullscreen approach makes the suspense more absorbing, and anyway I never get tired of staring at that art.
I do that for any comic that i read. This one is so gorgeous though, the NATURE scenes are beautiful beyond belief
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for you
We don't have a thread for the webcomic WildeLife, and I felt that that needed correcting.
I'll start by saying that it is adorable that "Pfft whatever we're not friends" Cliff keeps breaking into Oscar's house to hang out with him. The definition of "Tsundere" has a photo of Cliff.
