I've reverted the change. I guess now the question is, do we keep Yoko or go with someone that's more age-appropriate to be in something that skimpy?
I think that Yoko is okay. the age question in the anime is really subjective, the only important thing is that she is not a loli.

If we keep Yoko I would at least want to get rid of the caption.
For one thing she might not be actually fourteen by our calendar and she certainly doesn't look it. Especially murky when a High School AU exists and it's not a Middle School AU which would be the case if she was truly fourteen.

Yeah, the caption really isn't adding anything.
agree. cut the caption.
Seems more like an attempt at shaming the audience than helping with the page.
Check out my fanfiction!Seconded.
Yeah, axe the caption.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportAxe the caption.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Delete the caption.
(Annoyed grunt)It's still mildly creepy to be using a teenage character anyway, though. Can't we go with a slightly older female character? There's no shortage of fanservicey portrayals of grown women in anime.
One example that comes to mind: Lindsey Thorndyke from Sonic X, who's canonically in her 30s. Of course, it might also be worthwhile to keep looking for a better example; I'm just trying to get the ball rolling and start with what I'm familiar with.
That's...not even remotely what I think you meant to link.
The suggestions in 3 are good, but I think this almost needs a collage of the character in fanservicey scenes.

Is it a yellowish-orangish-haired busty woman in a motorcycle suit with the zipper partway down? That's what's linked to on my end.
I know it's not the most high-quality screenshot, but I can swap the quality if she's considered a good example.
EDIT: And sure enough the link worked fine before I posted this and doesn't afterwards. Trying again. This time I figure I'll post it in the thread, because anyone clicking a Ms. Fanservice thread in a public place probably knows what they're getting themselves into...

I'm gonna be honest here, I don't really think that Lindsey Thorndyke as the page image is gonna work. Does anyone have a really good image of Nico Robin from One Piece? I think she would be a much better page image.
Yeah this is just getting into playing favorites.
Let's just delete the caption and leave it.
Not so much "playing favourites" as "starting with what we know." I admitted earlier that there are probably better examples out there.
Meh, given TV Tropes' reputation it might be a good idea to err on the side of caution. Second one's pretty good, though.

Actually, that 4-panel of Fujiko is exactly the kind of pic I was thinking of...I'd be fine with that one as long as it looks good at wiki size.
Well, here's what it looks like at wiki size, assuming 350 pixels wide is still the guideline.
Alternatively, we could use one panel (my suggestion if so would be bottom-right; makes clear enough the fanservice is on purpose unlike top-right and bottom-left, without feeling as gratutious as the top-left) or multiple panels stacked vertically, and not have to shrink it by as much.

That's good too!
Now I'm having trouble making up my mind...
this work better on Fanservice Costumes (that actually has a sort of fan-comic cropped)

I dont like Fujiko, she doesn't hit enough Japanese fanservice tropes to really be good for this image as well as being far too plain.
If we put it there we would need to crop out the center one as thats her normal every day wear. source◊

The Yoko pic was replaced from current. I dont think that is an improvement.
