Things looked petty bleak until that last page.
I'm willing to bet the cloaked figure is Norman.

Chapter's out.
The Cavalry is here!
Interesting… So some of those beasts can be tamed by humans, eh? I guess we're now gonna be introduced to La Résistance.
Well that's clearly a horse equivalent instead of a steroid beast or the humanoid/also steroid abusing hound like ones.
And since we learned there are lesser species, tamed ones would appear at some point.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I'm still going with the theory that they are actually on an alien planet so some of the "demons" are actually just normal animals.
Chapter's out.
Demon allies?
The situation is getting more and more complex.
Of course if they are not literal supernatural demons, there's no reason to assume they are all uniformly evil.
Yeah, could be some other faction of demons trying to poach livestock. But "Sung-jae" at least sounds like a human name. Hmm.

Feels like they might be half-human because they are around a normal persons size and proportions. Truly their parent must have really been into livestock.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Of course, the only character with a Korean name is a demon. That's racist.
That's admittedly not the twist I expected (I'm starting to find the "alien planet all along" twist more and more believable) but interesting nonetheless. I guess there's a reason they keep a hood on… Also, it'd quite funny if the "dinner" they prepared was one for demons rather than humans.
Plot twist: the demons are humans who turned monstrous in pursuit of immortality. They remain alive as long as they eat human flesh.
And that's why they need smart kids, they need high quality brain cells to prevent their minds and memories from degrading.
New chapter out. Their mysterious saviors turn out to be demons with faith. Faith! And we're going to get some delicious information about the current state of affairs.
And we'll find out what they really are since demons is the name humans came up.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.…So Musica and Sung-Joo are basically Demon Muslims, and humans are their pork? Now that's interesting.
The panel where Sung-joo declared he had no problems eating anything other than humans seemed a bit ominous. A hint towards cannibalism, perhaps...? Or something else?
Also, I really hope we get some decent exposition next week, instead of them getting interrupted by something.
So yeah, "Demon" heathens that don't eat humans. Interesting.
Also, I can't wait for the next chapter and the new info about the world.
…After reading the Japanese chap, there seems to be a slight inaccuracy in the English tl, with the line "These days, it's rare enough to see living humans even on the plantations, much less..."
In Japanese he says "Kyoubi, ikita ningen nante, nouen no uchigawa kurai de shika ome ni kakarenai kara na" ("These days you pretty much only see living humans in the plantations"), which doesn't imply anything about the number of humans.
Though I guess I'm nitpicking… It does say something important though. That means there is no such thing as a "human society" outside of the farms, which makes things a bit more difficult for our heroes.
New chapter out. We get some answers.
This is even crazier than I though. So they were left behind as a part of the treaty? Wow, dick move ancient humans.
I like how the author explicitely shoots down the most popular theories, like "nope, try again".
Now this can be a problem… If the children do escape to the human world and it's discovered that Minerva has been crossing for years, wouldn't that be a break of the treaty?
It's also pretty interesting that both sides lived in terror. There wasn't a species "stronger" than the other. Usually in this kind of story, it's either one or the other. Though it doesn't really explain why the two worlds are so different and how they can be completely cut off from each other. Like they're parallel dimensions or something.

This makes me wonder if even the "demons" know what they are themselves. Pretty interesting stuff all around. My first thought about finding all this out was that even if they get the human side of the world, they'd still need to hide where they came from everything they did to get there.
Chapter's out.
Things not looking good on either front and a new ally? or a demon trick?
