[up] Pretty much. The main reason that I picked this era is because I wanted to do a game where not many events had been documented in canon so I could be free to have big events that could happen without really affecting the plot of the movie. Also, this era hasn't really been done yet on this forum and I thought it might be cool to explore.

Yup. This is a blank spot in the canon and for the most part tech stasis has hit the Star Wars universe hard. There's bacta instead of kolto and...that's about it.

  • Offensive Capabilities
    • 1 rear-facing, underbelly-mounted beam turret.
    • Twin roof-mounted ion cannons.
    • One seismic charge launcher hidden on the left side.

    • Purple Section - Engine room

Was promised a literal swimming pool of gold coins and jewelry. I see no such pool on the blueprints.

0/10, what kind of pirate ship doesn't have that? tongue

  • Name: Incarn Pulvek "Inevitable"
  • Age: Venerable
  • Species: Cybernetic, formerly Arkanian
  • Skills:
    • Force Valor allows the Force to guide Incarn's strikes, improving his accuracy and precision in combat - making him especially deadly as his body's strength is already comparable to a hover-lift.
    • Force Barrier temporarily enhances the already-considerable durability of Incarn's mechanical body to levels beyond that of some heavy battle droids.
    • Force Speed greatly augments Incarn's agility, allowing him to run much faster than humanly possible and giving his strikes unmatched swiftness.
  • Weapons and Equipment
    • Arg'garok: While a Jedi's traditional lightsaber might cut through any mundane substance, armor made with cortosis-weave and energy shields can reliably stop plasma blades and blasters both. Relegating his old saber to a mostly ceremonial role, Incarn has taken to using this great Gammorean-made vibro-axe's weight to make use of his exceptional might, and with it he cleaves through all types of armor with equal voracity.
    • Lightsaber Shoto (Blue): Though he no longer favors this weapon, some situations call for the unmatched precision of a lightsaber, or the extra defense of a dedicated parrying weapon. This relatively short-bladed saber has the leverage to make a suitable off-hand option in conjunction with the bulky Arg'garok when it is needed, though it requires Incarn to take one hand off the axe which reduces the power and speed of its swings. He prefers the use of Form V - Shien & Djem So, either to improve his defense when facing numerous threats or to best utilize his great strength to overpower singular, skillful opponents. However, as a Weapon Master, Incarn naturally has a good grasp of most lightsaber forms.
    • Cybernetic Body: Incarn's body is almost entirely cybernetic, save for certain portions of his brain deemed necessary for him to keep by the Jedi Order. Thus, the improvements he has made over his Arkanian physiology are vast in number. As outlined above, his strength, durability, and speed are considerably greater than that of most sentients, even most Jedi. Additionally, his senses are improved, and he requires far less oxygen, sustenance, and sleep than he once did. However, weapons and powers that normally only effect droids also harm Incarn, requiring him to be careful to keep his Force Barrier up when such ordnance is brought against him.

Contrary to popular belief, the cybernetics have not inhibited his abilities with the Force as he has taken to the mechanical grafts with a familiarity surpassing his own flesh and blood, allowing the mystic energy to channel along his circuitry and hydraulics as easy as any Jedi Master could through organs and tissue.
  • Role: Jedi Weapon Master. At the temple, he would be in charge of training Knights and Apprentices in the art of the lightsaber as well as a few less-traditional weapons.
  • Personality: Incarn Pulvek takes the doctrine of the Light Side of the Force to a disturbing degree. In his eyes, disorder and emotion in all their forms must be quashed for there to be true, lasting peace in the galaxy, and would see every star system fall under the iron fist of a more-militant Jedi Order to ensure it. This extremist view has proven unpopular even among some of the Jedi high council, and while his mastery of the Force is unquestioned, he has been relegated to a purely-combat training role in the order to limit the spread of his deeper ideas about how the Jedi should act.

Curiously, Incarn treats droids with a reverence most galactic denizens would scoff at, and holds the also-unpopular belief that the Force may reside in them as well, drawing further scorn from his brother Jedi.
  • Appearance: Incarn appears as a seven-foot tall titan of gleaming ultrachrome armor, lacking any decoration - though often bedecked in immaculate white robes to represent his affiliation with the Jedi order. His hands and feet have but three thick digits, and his head has no face to speak of - only a mirror-like surface that reflects back a distorted view of the onlooker. His low, ominous voice comes out cold and emotionless at all times, and is unmistakably mechanical.
  • Backstory: The flesh is treacherous; its siren's call lures every Jedi to the dark side where they would give in to their base desires. Incarn Pulvek sought a way out of this ceaseless temptation, and sometime after achieving the high status of Jedi Master, he found it in the clinics of the best doctors on Arkania. Cutting away every scrap of skin, muscle, and sinew he could get away with, Incarn was finally freed of the allure of physical pleasures, and could focus on mastery of the light - as well as the merciless destruction of the dark.

The choice to appoint him to the Broken Saber was an obvious one, as his many years spent mastering and then teaching the art of combat at the Jedi Temple would make him an unstoppable asset on any dangerous mission - albeit one that would warrant careful oversight from a trustworthy commander like Lowro Ropor.

@Sabres Edge - Good grief - I can't believe that I forgot a stroage area for the treasure on a freakin' pirate ship! I'll make the gameroom have some storage lockers for loot or something. To make it up to you, I'll throw you a small pool full of half-credit coins in the game room - how about that? grin

@secretlyasuperhero - Consider it claimed!

@Stygian Emperor - Incarn looks good but I just have a few things to go over with you before I can formally accept. I'm a little confused about his lightsaber- did he leave it at the Jedi Temple and is exclusively using the Arg'Garok? Or does he use both the Arg'Garok and the lightsaber? Either one is fine but I must say that it would be a bit odd for a Blademaster to leave his lightsaber behind, especially since he might be going up against fellow Jedi.

Also, I did ask in the initial post to keep the lightsaber colors relegated to either blue, green, red, yellow, or purple. Unless Incarn's white lightsaber referred to the hilt color or something like that, I'm going to have to ask you to change that. It's a minor thing and probably wouldn't affect story too much but there is an in-game reason that I asked to do this (Hint: It has something to do with the villain(s) you'll be facing).

Also, in the initial post of this thread, it asks to specify a Lightsaber Form of Combat. You can leave it blank if you wish but if that's the case, I will just assume that Form I (the most basic of the lightsaber forms) is your character's preferred style.

So if you can just specify what you're doing with those three elements, I can go ahead and officially accept you. If you have any questions, let me know.

I love Star Wars.

  • Name - Crazoak
  • Gender - Male
  • Age - Late 30s
  • Species -Southern Mustafarian
  • Skills -
    • Heat resistance: Both types of Mustafarians, Southern and Northern, have a natural resistance to intense heat and fire.
    • Limited Mechanic: Crazoak has a limited knowledge of engineering where he can keep things on the ship running without them stop working correctly.
  • Weapons and Equipment -
    • Flamethrower
    • Southern Mustafarian lava flea Armor: A special type of armor that Southern Mustafarian's use to enchant their natural heat resistance, it is made out of gaint lava fleas that are native on Mustafar.
    • DLC-13 mining droid: An old DLC-13 mining droid that Crazoak has kept from the days when he worked on Mustafar. It barely works now, but he doesn't seem to mind that.
  • Ship Role - Mechanic/Engineer. Can also double as a combatant when the need arises. Can also tell what types of ore and minerals are worth more since he worked of a Mustafarian mining company.
  • Personality - Crazoak doesn't show that much emotion when he speaks, of course accredit this to him almost always wearing his armor unless ordered too. When he does show emotion it usually is when he is greatly upset or annoyed at the person he is talking to.
  • Appearance - There aren't a lot of pictures of these guys
  • Backstory - Crazoak was born on Mustafar like most of his species, and worked for the mining operation around this place he was born. During one operation Crazoak was later recruited with a few other Mustafarian's to work for a off planet company who wanted to see if Mustafarian's could be useful on other lava based planets. Sadly the company later stopped this operation, but they didn't offer the Mustafarian's they had hired a way back to their home planet of Mustafar. Crazoak later joined the crew when the band of pirates landed on the planet he had been stranded on.

Is this acceptable? Or do i need to edit it a little?

That's fine - you don't have to add the skills if you don't want to. As to multiple characters...I'm going to tentatively say no for now but that doesn't necessarily mean that ban is forever.

Better Nate then lever.

  • Name: Senra Faetus
  • Gender: Female
  • Age: Not so young, not particularly old
  • Species: Devaronian
  • Skills:
    • Force Stealth: In addition to more mundane means of trickery and concealment, Senra has schooled herself to appear as nothing more then background noise in the force to all but the strongest of Dark Jedi, allowing her to pass among the force sensitive unnoticed.
    • Mind Trick: Practiced in the arts of subtle persuasion, ready to ply her skills with the force to aid in a confrontation, Senra would rather avoid such brute force tactics as dominating a contact's mind. Better to have them think it was their own idea in the end.
    • Psychometry: Shunning any attempt to use such a power on the living or the dead, the Sentinel does employ it when tracking someone, or attempting to link a relic or other item to an owner. Such a power greatly shortens the footwork otherwise required.
  • Weapons and Equipment: Sentinels by their nature and training take a more pragmatic view of a Jedi's tools then their more orthodox colleagues. Barring visits to Courascant, or a desire to appear in her formal role, Senra eschews the traditional robes of a Jedi, though her preferred vestments are a dark gray-blue over cream most people have never seen them. Instead she dresses in a fashion familiar to smugglers, pirates, and petty crooks the galaxy over; casual and unpretentious.

While it might strike the puritanical as vain, a good deal of her modest space for possession include a variety of outfits. The rest is padded out with basic slicing tools, lockpicks, datapad, and a few other nondescript shoddy personal belongings.

Kept separate, always on her person in fact, is her lightsaber. Usually hidden away, but always within reach, Senra is a practitioner of Form II at heart, finding its usefulness in dueling the Dark Jedi she stalks invaluable. However, Form VI is much more useful in the day to day, dealing with thugs or toughs. With both forms she shows skill with TrĂ kata. In fact, her golden yellow blade's hilt is partially designed to take advantage of that technique, the blade control being specially designed for rapid on/off cycling. Her current weapon is shorter then she prefers, but much more concealable then the one carried during her days as a Sentinel.

No less omnipresent and much more visible is her heavy blaster, worn in serious gunslinger fashion low on the leg for easy draw. Ignored by most Jedi, fitting in with most scoundrels is impossible without a weapon to serve as, at the very least a prop, frequently as a good way to deal with dissatisfied contacts short of blowing her cover.
  • Ship Role: Shadow
  • Personality: Senra is nothing if not adaptable; when on her own time, however, she's faultlessly polite and has a very large smile. Those with a hint of force sensitivity can tell this isn't an act, merely a cultivation of her own nature to help others feel at ease around a somewhat notorious Shadow. Her actions seldom trouble her, as long experience with the order's struggle against the Dark has taught her that whatever happens, it is infinitely better that they lose.
  • Appearance: Fairly tall, Senra's skin tone tends more towards the pink end of red then being particularly dark. She has long, thick hair that's often at least partially braided. Her eyes are narrow, and she has two large black spots on her forehead where the horns of a male Devaronian would be, surrounded by a field of smaller specks. Her build is slender and toned by a constant schedule of training. She prefers low boots, tights or a mid-calf length skirt, plain blouse, and a jacket. When 'working' she usually wears an armor or equipment vest.
  • Backstory: Senra's past in the order is singularly unremarkable; she was tested at a young age and found to be force sensitive. Plucked from the marshy lake country of Dearon she studied as a Youngling at a Jedi academy. Selected fairly quickly to be a Padawan, her master felt great potential in the clever young girl. Devoted to the tenets of the Jedi Code, she possessed a stolid character, well grounded morally and a flexibility that lent itself well to deception without malice.

Most of her apprenticeship is cloaked in self-imposed secrecy. While her consular master worked openly as an ambassador and diplomat in the rimward planets, sorting out trade disputes and local issues, she schooled her young padawan for a decade in not only the ways of the Force and its mysteries but how an honest woman could make use of dishonest tactics. When she was knighted, many familiar with the pair expected them to continue working together, or for her to pursue consular training herself, Senra (un)surprisingly chose the path of a Sentinel.

Her training intensified but she was quickly drawn into the world of covert operations as the Order sought out Dark side artifacts and Dark Jedi. Through her somewhat unusual apprenticeship she rose quickly to the position of Shadow. Her specialties are in Jedi-tracking and infiltration of dark-aligned organizations.

Here's my ten-second recap:

  • As You Know, we are a bunch of pirates corsairs with some Jedi on our ship escorting them on their srsbsns mission.
  • We ran into an abandoned freighter
    • Freighter had some droids controlled by another droid that had turned "evil" because of an injury or something.
    • The ship also had some epic loot. By that I mean jewels and gold and stuff.
  • We found out that somebody sent off a transmission (from our ship) about our activities while we were looting the ship.
  • Now we are at pirate HQ doing some high-intensity infiltration. And by that, I mean we are seeing what we can buy with our lootmonies.
