As I said, I don't understand japanese and I hate watching things without knowing what's happening- I know from the time I tried to play Jap!SDR 2 on a PSP Emulator just to play it and understood not a thing.

Fun fact about being a teenager part 1: you don't actually have much money to spend on your own. I managed to buy SDR 2 recently though, so that's that.

I get that. I'm saying PSP emulators became viable relatively recently. The English ROM should have been as "accessible" as the Japanese one.

EDIT: Scratch that, we got the Vita version stateside. There was no English PSP version.

On this episode of Side:Future, Ruruka keeps being an awful human being, Sakakura keeps being angry, and Makoto keeps being carried around

This thread is now a dedicated Ruruka the Pink Widow hate thread, since she one-upped Juzo, and even he doesn't care about her, or her NG code.

He even managed to pause when he learns Kimura was killed, while she was more concerned with making it look like Izayoi got killed and trying to murder others.

I find it funny people try to defend her attitude when the Slasher Smile she got as she activates the trap that nearly killed Kirigiri shows she was enjoying it, and that she was plotting her own power grab before all this (For herself of course).

Also Ruruka proving Kimura right that she is a traitor.

Why would anyone defend Ruruka? She's completely awful, and I find more redeeming value in Skeletor than Ruruka.

Because she's cute. People will excuse a lot about characters that are cute.

The character page itself has people putting that her actions revealed in episode 8 are done in defense of her own life, ignoring that her first response to Izayoi learning about the entrance was to murder him and then try to make it look like she didn't, as well as ignoring she's enjoying her attempts at killing people to defend said life. You know cementing her as an asshole through and through.

After all the shit about Ruruka and Izayoi being a devoted couple, it's simply infuriating that she'd murder him rather than just telling him what's up and asking him to not get her killed. That's a level of cynicism that's indistinguishable from suicidal idiocy.

From her babbling, it sounds like he turned on her there. Though I'm personally still pretty unclear on how things went down.

Knew Kizakura's time was up. So long cool dude. Not much to chew on this episode.

We had a solid episode with not many surprises, which is very unusual for this particular anime

I'm actually intrigued on what's going to happen to Chisa afterwards...

@Comun: Actually, I suspect that Komaeda is going to be subjected to some of the same brainwashing as Junko, shortly ... and while Komaeda indicates that he's never met Kamakura, Kamakura doesn't say the same about him, I believe.

And I suspect that we are seven days from Nanami's death.
