Poor Image: Shameless Self Promoter

The quality of the current is terrible. Haven't been able to find a straight upgrade, so opening a thread to look for a replacement. Not 100% happy with it, but I'll start by offering Gilderoy Lockhart watching a painting of himself painting himself◊.

Wait, did the current even get consensus there? It looks the person who suggested it just put it up right away and then the thread clocked out.

Suggestion is a good start.

Either way, current needs to go.

Apparently I didn't read the thread closely enough before closing it...either that or I just decided to let it sit until something better came along.

The suggestion isn't great, but it's an improvement.

Maybe I'm just not good with faces, but in the suggestion it's not obvious to me that it's the same guy three times.

If it's just that, it can be pointed out in the caption.

The suggestion's at least better quality than the current, but I don't get self promotion so much as rampant ego massaging.

I can go with the suggestion.

The current must go, you can barely see anything.

The suggestion needs, indeed, to stop and look closely to get it, but once done it's a good enough illustration. And it's quite pleasant aesthetically speaking. (Will need a crop on the right, of course.)
