The Thousand-Yard Stare makes it work, but I wonder if a before pic (if there's one available) wouldn't help drive the point home.
I can't tell whether that's vaguely grey hair, some kind of blond, or the lighting. Nor can I tell the age, but I rarely can anyway.
The suggestion is better for the work page in any case, though.
Check out my fanfiction! Is his skin also greyish, or is that just dirt? Because it makes it look like he'd gain some colour if he just washed.
Check out my fanfiction! It is an ambigious case.
What about Moses?
Not enough obvious gray for my liking.
Should've said before, I like the 2-panel suggestion.
I could go with 4.
(Annoyed grunt)Bump. Any other thoughts or suggestions?
(Annoyed grunt)I think 4 works well enough. His dead-eyed expression and beat-up face is abundantly clear that he's gone through some sort of trauma.

Clock is set.
The more I think about this, the more I'm thinking that the 2-panel shot would work better on Prematurely Grey-Haired, and that we should try to find a title screen or DVD cover for the work page.
Well, I'm dumb...didn't realize there was a suggestion for the film page in the OP. The clock is going to expire tomorrow, so I've gone ahead and put 4 on Prematurely Grey-Haired and put the OP on Come and See. Locking up.
I'd like to suggest that the current page image be moved to Prematurely Grey-Haired as a fine demonstration of that trope and replaced with something like this◊.
