Cool. Now I just need more room for a deku leaf.
Do you need to use as many as that video? I don't want it to float too high and all?
One Strip! One Strip!Depends on your requirements. Attaching one will hover it slightly above ground, and, the more you add, the faster and higher it will rise.
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I recently discovered that if you chuck a bomb at a beehive and detonate it, it'll drive off the bees so you can pick up the honey without having to fight the swarm.
I don't think it has, but that would've saved me some arrows and bow wear if I had known it sooner.
A regular arrow to down the hive and then a fire arrow to kill the swarm is how I was getting them when I was regularly collecting.
All your safe space are belong to Trumpyou could probably also just hold a torch under it, given how much attention to detail, biology, and physics has been given in this game.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youOh, I thought people already knew the bomb-the-bees trick. I probably shouldn't assume that everyone would use an AoE on a swarm attack; just those of us who have dealt with one too many swarms at low levels in Dungeons & Dragons.
Another that I sometimes enjoy, when the situation warrants, is to shoot down a beehive when there's an enemy right by it. The bees will go after the hapless Bokoblin/Moblin instead of you.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Bees aren't even a threat though, unless you're playing the second DLC
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youNo, but they're annoying. The bomb trick saves time.
As for the smoke one, I should try that! I've tried holding a flame under an apple still on a tree. The apple turned into a baked apple and fell off the branch. It doesn't seem that honeycomb "roasts", so who knows?
No, I mean in real life, smoking out a hive makes bees not sting you. Then you can take the honey.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youOh, I know that! Which is why I want to try doing it in the game. Who knows, it might work!
Speaking of trying things in-game, you know that guy with the "Master Torch"? I tried lighting his torch on fire to see what he'd do, but it wouldn't light.
holding a torch under a hive totally works, it's the first thing I did when I found a hive, lol.
That said I totally forgot to try bombing the bees, I might not have had them when I first found a hive and I haven't seen very many of them so I don't actually collect much honey.
You know, I wonder if the initial war against Calamity Ganon and his forces looked like a less technologically advanced version of this:
Especially once he started corrupting the Guardians.

Maybe it was different when the game came out last year, but I hear a lot about how hot Zelda is, not so much about Link. Us female players need to speak up more, because dressing Link attractively (and he's already pretty hot) is fun.
Any particular preference for the colours of the Gerudo Vai ensemble?
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805I really like the snowquill headdress. It's so cute
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youI like the diamond circlet you get in Gerudo town. It looks like a Roman laurel wreath crown, and pairs well with the Soldier's armor.
Currently on my last ten shrines because I refuse to finish the game with Link not wearing his Iconic Outfit. Really not a fan of the baby blue tunics and sashes.

"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."The Champion's Tunic is the shit and I will fight you over it
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youMy standard outfit is Champion Tunic, Hylian Pants, and Amber Earrings.
Heart of StoneI usually wear either Ancient Greaves or stealth pants. The slight difference makes a difference, I think.
I almost never wear the hylian pants because they offer no bonus.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youWhich was a mistake. I really think they should have given it some set bonus, though I will admit it's hard to think of something that's thematically appropriate. Increased move speed (because you're a traveler)? The knight armor also needed a set bonus, but that one's easy: Just have an armor bonus. Same as the barbarian set, but for defense instead of attack.
The climbing gear is a good thing to have as default too. God, I love that stuff
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youHartmut: the Vai ensemble? I settled on these colors. Which, later I realized that the Gerudo weapons feature a lot of scarlet & green, so they match.
CrimsonZephyr: Yeah, I like the Diamond Circlet for the same reason!
I could see the Hylian set giving Link a stamina bonus of some kind.
Nice. That does look good.
I do think that the Desert Voe gear could have been given a better set bonus. Like, maybe drop the Sand Boots and give them the movement speed increase on sand instead.
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805Question, guys: My bro got Bot W not long ago. We're playing it together. I've used Wolf Link before, and it was a lot of fun. However, he's not letting me use it because he considers it Bribing Your Way to Victory.
What do you guys think? How powerful is Wolf Link, would you say?
"Any campaign world where an orc samurai can leap off a landcruiser to fight a herd of Bulbasaurs will always have my vote of confidence"
Yes and then use a deku leaf to fly it where you want
