The pic here isn't very good at illustrating the trope, because the main difference between the "before" and "after" image seems to be that the woman has changed her clothes. Maybe her hair is a bit more unkempt in the right pic, but because of the small size it's hard to see.
As a suggestion, we could use "before" and "after" images of Tom Hanks in Cast Away, such as this

. If putting them side by side makes them to small to notice the difference, maybe pile them vertically?
