Well, avoiding spoilers is certainly going to be fun.

@ Bacon Maniac: But it is supposed to be wanking for all previous gens this time around, not just Gen 1.

And In my opinion, there has always been some degree of Gen 1 wanking in every generation. It's something that becomes tradition after a while.

Yeah I know, I'm just saying we already had our obligatory genwun wanking.

Based on the leaks it seems to be less Gen 1 wanking and more all the evil teams teaming up under Team Rocket's banner. Giovanni starts the process for forming the extradimensional Legion of Doom, but if Bad End Ghetsis takes over Team Rainbow Rocket at the end, it's closer to Gen 5 wanking than Gen 1.

Well then. Things are more interesting that I thought they were going to be. I guess once (...if?) the trailers start hinting towards these revelations, more people who were on the fence might jump on these games. Ultra feels like a weird fusion of Emerald/Platinum-styled third versions (mostly in that the base story from Sun/Moon is still there...) and Gen V's sequel titles (...in that said story seems to be tweaked enough to give Ultra its own identity, moreso than Emerald/Platinum), and I thought that before I got a bit spoiled just now.

Also I'm not reading any more spoiler tags. I really wasn't expecting anything like what I read to happen, and now I kind of ruined it for myself.^note Luckily, my crappy memory means I'll probably forget them until I get the games myself.

I recall seeing previous teams' logos (from Rocket to Flare) in a trailer for the Alola Photo Club. I just assumed they were decorations to reference previous games.

Well its leaks. Of course they would talk about leaks! it gives them attention and views and more i, especially if they are pokemon only stuff. Nothing is confirmed so its technically fair game.

that's why I'm not looking at anything pokemon related unless it's official for the next 3-4 weeks

As usual for me, read all the spoilers, and I can't wait to see my girlfriend's reaction to all those spoilers.

Currently not believing in those leaks aside from the Team Rocket one, that was on Serebii, and Youtube's been kind to me.

I am on the fence with these leaks as well. Having previous villain teams make an appearance in the post game is so common in fanfic-y fake leaks that it was bound to happen eventually, this doesn't prove anything yet.

The leaker is the same person who leaked basically everything about Sun and Moon originally, and the fact that Team rocket confirmed to be returning with a rainbow colored backdrop for a wants to fight Animation on the download code, just makes said leaks more and more credible.

It's either the leaks, or those two Rocket Grunts are very proud members of the LGBTQ community.

It's not just the rainbow background. The leaks also said that Team Rocket captures Lusamine and their symbol is plastered over her mansion in the picture.

well damn this is making me excited.

I feel like Lusamine is getting shafted really hard as a villain from these recent leaks if true.

Lusamine is definitely experiencing The Worf Effect along with Guzma, considering one of the trailers has her collapsed over his unconscious body while referring to someone else as a monster. There are far bigger threats this time. The Ultra Recon Squad clearly outclasses the Aether Foundation as a high tech organization, and Team Rocket are the mafia to Team Skull's street thugs.
