Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"It's not 100% evident, but those red marks on the side of the TIE's cockpit are silhouettes of enemy fighters, which are a common way to indicate kills by just about every driven/piloted vehicle army. Thus, the overall context, especially combined with the caption, makes this a fairly strong Keep Until Better Image Suggested case for me.
With all those kills listed on the side of the TIE its clear that he is an ace, that is WAY more than the standard 5 to be an ace.
Change the caption to 'look at all those kills painted on the side of his Tie Fighter.'?

... this may not be perfect, but it's a LONG shot from Just A Face And A Caption.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I'm for changing the caption.
I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey..I like the current caption, but adding "Those red marks are kills." to the beginning would get the point across without taking up too much space.
Can someone familiar with SW lore confirm whether or not the Empire used the same scheme as the Rebels, where a red silhouette indicated a squadron's worth of kills instead of a single ship?
As I recall, that wasn't a scheme, just something Wedge's tech came up with on the fly because he had that many kills.
Oooh, that's pretty good, too.
I like that
I think I prefer the current fictional one with a new caption more.
We have a trope about painting your kills on the side of the plane right?

I rechecked the first book of the X-Wing Series, and I was right; it has to be explained to Wedge that the red silhouettes represent 12 kills each. And then he says he doesn't care, and if they'd rather group his TIE kills by gross lots—144 kills per silhouette—that's cool too. Ace Pilot indeed.
But anyway, I'm conflicted, because both the original and the suggestion are good. There's nothing wrong with the current, but the suggested image adds gravitas because it's (presumably) Real Life.
Keep current for the reasons already stated and make the suggestion an image link.
The only thing I think we need is confirmation on how many kills each symbol represents and to put that info in the caption.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I don't get your point. Current also relies on us noticing the kills painting on the side of the plane.

Looks good.

Monday votes bump; one in consensus range.
This one's looking clear. The upgrade's swapped in and tagged...do we wanna keep the current caption?
