Anyhoo. Think since Steve has the (unofficial) backing of Wakanda that he'll get a new shield from them? It's incredibly convenient that soon after he loses his shield he's at the one place in the world where he could conceivably get a new one and friendly to the leader of the place. It would make me quite sad if he doesn't get a new one.

On the other hand, If Steve show up with a new shield, people will make conection, one thing is T`challa boasting "bring it" and another is the US discovering the backing of Cap new shield, that would be too....reckless.

Also, is a thematic thing, it would make Steve look like a dick right now

He could get a new shield. The US would have no way to prove that the shield comes from Wakanda or that it is made of Vibranium (since it can't be identified by the naked eye as far as we're aware).

there arent many please where Steve can get a new shield, even more a vibranium or adamantium one(after all, without that he is just a dude with metal freesbe) is not too hard to guest

Steve did't lose the shield. He dropped it. Not the same thing by a long shot.

There are plenty of places for him to get a shield. Shields aren't exactly a rare commodity around the world. He could just custom make one, in fact.

The Vibranium part is what could tie him to Wakanda but like I said, you can't identify Vibranium with the naked eye from what we see (it just looks like regular steel). Seeing him action it'd look basically indistinguishable from a steel shield unless they methodically analyzed his every move.
