It… wasn't very clear what she trying to say actually. Or maybe I just didn't pay attention…
Basically that she was upset that the others still went despite what she said, but also upset with herself for thinking that words would be enough to stop them. It was kind of hard to get a good reading on it, though.

I think it's as well as her being worried that her friendship with them would be irreperably damaged by what she said prior to their going, as well as just the events overall potentially hurting the friendly atmosphere of the class. Sort of a way to clear the air.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/lb_i.php?lb_id=13239183440B34964700 Alfric's Fire Emblem Liveblog Encyclopedia!Honestly the opposite room thing comes off as another Japanese thing. Like at 16, in going into a girl's room(provided you're not trying to get laid) isn't a big deal at all unless you never hung out with a girl before. But in Japan where I think gender expectations and roles are a bit more rigid, I expect that there isn't quite the same amount of integrating going on growing up leading to stuff like this.
I wonder what froppy and Invisible girl's rooms look like?

Yeah, that's how I read it. That she didn't recant her position(so she was still disappointed they went ), but she was afraid the harsh wording she chose would drive a wedge between them.
I thought it was a good character moment. Tsuyu's honesty has so far been an undeniable asset towards her being a hero, and this was the first time that attitude clashed with her friends' actions. Good to see the issue being addressed with an honest talk, instead of one person being proven wrong (which is how a lot of disagreements seem to get resolved in fiction).
Another thing of note: hearing Tsuyu's voice do an emotional scene was weird, but really effective. I think this is the first time we actually heard her being sad.
EDIT: No, it's not a Japanese thing, I've seen it happen. A lot of teenage boys (especially those who grew up without siblings) do make a big deal of going into a girl's room, even if they're being invited in. Even when, as children, they had no issue doing so. If it was a cultural thing, the girls would also find it weird to peek into rooms.

Didn't you see it? It's very pink and goily.
It's gonna be even weirder in the dub.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.A good ep, a welcome simmering down from all the action and intensity of a last couple eps... but holy shit, did they pull all the stops on Mineta this time.
Sato gaining a much welcome relevance was also nice. Other nice things are Aoyama's suit of armor, Ashido's furnishing and Bakugo being nice (in his own specific way).
grahAs far as making a big deal about going into the girls' rooms, most of them didn't. Izuku and Ojiro commented on it just because that's their personalities in general, and Mineta is...Mineta.

The only rooms we didn't see we're Tsuyu, Bakugo, and Mineta.
I imagine the joke would be that Mineta's room is actually fairly normal despite how creepy he was acting.
Tsuyu's probably has a lot of frog imagery, and a joke I've seen is that Bakugo would be really big in the Michael Bay's stuff.

Bakugo's room is probably similar to Izuku's in that he has a lot of All Might stuff around his room, considering how much he liked him.
I do imagine Tsuyu's room is odd and whimsical in her own way. I mean look at her family. Maybe not totally frog-themed stuff but also containing some workout equipment.
Bakugo's room probably looks like a hurricane ran through it.
So whose room did you like most? I'd say in terms of general aesthetics Sero and Jiro win out.

Kirishima and Tokoyamis.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. We saw Mineta's old room. He had a bunch of figures and posters of female heroes.
I actually liked Sero's room. But Uraraka's room is always a safe choice.
So is this show taking a break next week?
Yeah, I thought the break would be this week, but it's next week for the mid-season. After that will be the new OP and ED, as well as the start of the new arc.
Sero is kind of cool even if he's gonky looking.
Man a new opening? Thank goodness because Odd Future sucked. I don't mind watching openings when I like them but I always made sure to fast forward through Odd Future.
Do whatever saves the most time.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I like the song, not the visuals, so I just do something else for a minute and a half…
I like the visuals but not the song.
I like both, but not together.
Froggy tears.
