Guys, I'm starting to see rampant misuse for this trope... the examples are gonna need a thorough clean-up sooner or later.
The trope is about the comedic routine of jumping up-and-down while holding a hurt foot. It's not about any kind of injury to the feet, especially not gruesome examples. Let's not start to make things worse with a confusing illustration.

I'd support using the last panel of the C&H strip as the new page pic for the main page since Comic Strips are in a folder there and moving the current pic to the Western Animation subpage.
I suppose we are now looking for a replacement on main which is needed because current pic is misleading. The trope description is rambling too much in second paragraph. It should make it clear early on that the hopping on one foot (3 paragraph) is an essential indigence.
What about the watermark? I could remove it.

Yeah, it's a signature; comic strip artists tend to sigh towards the edge of a panel. Should be fine.

The examples list mentions a Charlie Chaplin example from The Great Dictator. Anyone can find a screencap of that? I'm not having much luck so far.
