Climbing. I realized after seeing Berno the Rat by Tman that I needed to add some species-specific ability. Also, I think relationships like that might be considered acceptable to a certain extent.(A Mole and a Chipmunk might be okay, but a Toad and a Raccoon probably wouldn't be.)

And how do we get more people to join?

We'll just have to wait for more sign-ups, I guess. Honestly, I'm just sort of waiting on the already signed up players to join in at the moment.

I have already mentioned The Things Beast, Bird and Lizard Were Not Meant To Know. But what should be those things, in your opinion?

I don't know. Maybe things such as animal abuse/mutilation for food that the humans do to the animals. Or even practices such as, like we talked about, neutering or the clipping of wings and subsequent imprisonment of some of the animals. Also, maybe the horrific effects human habitation has on the environment, that our characters attribute to their destructive, otherworldly powers. Their cars would be their "metal steeds" and their bulldozers would be their "sharp-toothed monsters" or something like that. Pollution could have terrible implications for their health.

Oh do ho ho ho ho. Horrific.

And remember that one post you wrote where our characters discover some human history books and end up having a very out-of-the-loop idea of what their civilization is like? What do you think it'll be like?

I would like to think that the communities in our area are somewhat still stuck in a "medieval times" way of living. Almost all of the people who ere born there probably have absolutely no idea of how modern technology works. Also, why do you think humans have never really noticed their advanced habitation? Maybe they're a very unusually progressive mouse colony, being as they have schools and farms and such, or maybe mice just keep themselves very well hidden?

I say "well-hidden", as they are, well, mice, but some humans do notice once in a while, and, unlike most depictions of Mouse World, humans will try to follow up on that. Bigger animals, such as dogs, cats, and, of course, tegu lizards, don't have such a freedom, as their towns would be noticed very quickly.

And the mouse colony is hidden in a lush forest. It won't be so progressive if it was on urban grounds.

I had an idea. We probably should restrict the "Roll to Dodge" rules to the battle system and specific incidents (for example, life-or-death situations)

That would be good. So you would have better control over the main events, right? I guess this would need to be considered depending on the situation.

That could be interesting! Maybe a dog who's devoted to humans?

And fanatically so, to the point where he leads an entire religion in the neighborhood and horribly kills any animal who doesn't agree that humans are absolutely great beings.

And maybe there's a cat who's only pretending to worship the humans but is secretly a rebel or something.

Or is a complete opposite of the Dog - he despises human beings greatly and sees them as worthless. That would be okay if he didn't share the same feelings for the rest of the animals.

I feel like a lot of the major conflicts should revolve around the animals just trying to survive in the wake of a harsh world, while still trying to hold on to the hope of a better future and their often strained relationships during these tough times, just as much as it should from any "villainous" characters.

And, of course, that "better future" may or may not come. Just because, well, humans are everywhere.
