Speaking of Useless Useful Class, can that apply to a non-gimmicky class too? So long as they, well, perform less well than (and/or be made redundant by) others.

No, I don't think it is always a gimmick but it has to be something tangiblely bad.
The whole useless useful thing is it's gotta be useless or hopelessly underpowered normally and via some kind of method it makes them damn good if not broken. That 'some kind of method' could be an item, weapon, skill, etc or combo of multiple things.
If X class is 'Y Class but worse' then what method makes them as good as Y class or even better? That is the needed info for the trope when it comes to that.
An example would be Final Fantasy III's Onion Knight, it's an unlockable class that has absurdly low stats and is just a worse Sage skill wise or Knight Equipment wise... till you level it to 92 then it starts gaining 12 stats per level and by 99 it's stats are Game-Breaker levels of godly.

No, it's called Magikarp Power. Lethal Joke Character is a character/class that is bad unless you know the specific player-skill needed to make it more powerful than the other classes. Not commenting on Useless Useful Class.

Okay, so. Accurate wicks have been moved to Sandbox.Useless Useful Class.
I just realized that while we got consensus to turn Spoony Bard into a disambig, we technically didn't decide what to do about Quirky Bard, so I made a new crowner

The three options I thought of: Leave as-is, move to Useless Useful Class, replace the description with the one currently at Sandbox.Useless Useful Class.
Any thoughts?

Most of those that are on there I don’t see them being this, they don’t talk about the useful part... it’s all just bashing. Just a bad class is not the trope.
That Skyrim example is not in any way any trope, there are no classes and it’s not even talking about a PC.
The Scholar Class in FFIII is about the only example on the page that is this, it’s massively weak in all stats and has very few magic spells but it has the scan command which is vital in exactly one Barrier Change Boss fight and no other fight in the entire game.
The FFX-2 example for example just bashed the songstress dressphere and how seemingly useless it is and bashes the late game spells it gets cause it doesn’t match up to the Game-Breaker item that got nerfed to the point that the item is just bad. It doesn’t mention how it can shut down and mob that can be afflicted with any kind of status effect including a lot of bosses, mostly early game bosses, and random encounters.
