You probably know what will happen.
either imma get robbed or i was already robbed
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartThe Stranger was not yet given a skillset, when he met your guy... and I need to make a connection to some characters.

So, here is what I am planning/what Jumper wants to do: Fall on he guy, accidentally knocking his wallet off. Then pick it up and hand it back, while actually stealing part of its content as he picks it up (he does not need to make a grabbing motion).
Hey guys, I'm sorry for not posting on the main thread. I'm here now so I'm going to read through the main thread and try to make a intro post.
Edit: Well theres my into post. I hope its decent.

The man of a million outdated referencesWhat sort of FTL travel does this universe have? I was thinking Johnny's shop would travel using something akin to an Alcubierre drive.
Does it run on sci-fi physics? Because a real-world (present and hypothetical) Alcubierre drive would require a humongous amount of energy to run and incinerate everything in front of it upon arrival.

Well, obviously not the incineration part, but that's why I was talking about the antimatter cores and all that.
We in space now?

GIVE ME YOUR FACEYes the ship took off a while ago. Currently the majority of the group are aboard either partying or leaving the party.
"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."Where's it to in space?
GIVE ME YOUR FACEWe have no location set for where it is or where it is currently going. So you could like fly to it in your own ship if you wanted.
"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."Phil, I apologize before hand on Jumper doing what he can do to have your character imprisoned. Hull Breach is a serious offence.
Courtesy of Ghost Elm and some collaborative work on a few of our parts, we now have a wiki page and character page!

"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."Should probably discuss future posts I plan to make for this RP here, but I'm not 100% sure. Anyway, I have paragraphs of content I can post in the main thread if that's alright. I want to apologize in advance for the fact that it's basically going to be around 2-pages of material, but at least I won't be posting with that much material very often (damn those obligatory introductions that require so much detail!) Just give me the approval, and I'll get started (although my first and possibly second posts won't be something that can be replied to, basically meant to just provide background for what's going on).
Living The Fever DreamYou are welcome to join the game and start posting.
You don't need to apologise for having lots to post, it happens especially when characters are alone. If you are really worried split it into multiple posts spread out a little bit. Otherwise just go to town, your character doesn't need to be immediately with us and intractable, solo stuff happens.

"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."Alright then, I can post some filler just to establish the sort of atmosphere my character is while showing some of their traits, and maybe get some good practice in before involving other people. It's going to be a couple of posts anyway before I do anything that might get someone else's attention.
Living The Fever DreamQuick question: What's this RP's rating in terms of violence and profanity? Like I said, I prefer not to get too detailed if I can help it, but there are instances where things get pretty violent in some of my writings. As for language, I usually prefer to include asterisks for words beyond "damn" and "hell" that may appear in semi-rare cases, but I never invoke sufficiently offensive language. I'm just not a big proponent of Gosh Dang It to Heck! with most characters.
Living The Fever DreamI tent to avoid using profanity, I think I have done it once.
For violence, we have done some pretty violent and graphic scenes. There is no easy line I think that can be drawn but be a little mindful that we are not writing a horror story for example. We likely don't need detailed descriptions of viscera but violence itself is fine. One of my characters literally broke someones arm in a recent scene and bisected a man in his intro...
Stuff like damn and hell, I used those alot actually. Which is likely a good reference, those I feel are fine but stronger be mindful to be sparing, to asterisk them out I think or just go with the Gosh Dang It to Heck! option, which I am not the most fond of either.
Alternatively over view it, "x releases a string/storm of profanity.", not entirely satisfying but a option.
This is just my opinion but hey, sharing out opinions is useful and I have done violence and profanity in this RP.

"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."As for profanity, I'd say in an RP like this you could just make some words up and tell 'Hey, my race says Rupasjolö when they mean F***'. I don't think that should be a real problem but I'm not the GM nor the majority so I of course can't tell you for sure. But at least IMO that should be fine.

"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"I'm not sure if I've already said it, but I plan for my character to survive through a hell of a fight before getting rescued by anyone. As much as I find the Sole Survivor trope a cliche, that's pretty much what's going to happen to Torvahk Grevom. As for who ends up responding to the group's distress call and rescuing him from that desert moon, I'm not quite sure how I'm going to pull that off. Is the Troperia going to arrive to extract him, or should I generate a random ship with crew from Nos Lycarin to do so?
Living The Fever DreamI would say a ship, we are currently planetside on shoreleave for a unknown amount of time. I don't see any reason why the ship would leave and find you in any reasonable period of time right now.
"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."Thanks for the input, in all honesty I kind of like this idea better since I can keep my intro plot flowing at the rate I want it to.
Living The Fever DreamFor my future posts I just need to ask, what's some general information about Nos Lycarin? Like, what does the population consist of, and how much of it is human?
