Dc delayed answer to .Marvel Disc Wars The Avengers?
But Supes is already the very best that no one(batman) ever was.
"We be we baby!"He's still not the best at what he does or the strongest one there is.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Isn't it supposed to be like some sort of "character balance" deal between heroes? Where one character may not be as strong as another in one or two areas but make up for it elsewhere?
How do you mean? Like, purposefully? I doubt it. I think that may be how some writers choose to approach the characters, but I don't think they were designed for that purpose. One thing I hate about teaming certain characters up with others is the tendency of some writers to dumb one character down in order to accommodate another character.

Like how there's a possibility of reducing Firestorm's alchemical powers to mere fire for the sake of fairness? I totally get that. Let them be who they are and if you're writing is good enough you'll find a way to make disparate levels work without making someone stupid or taking away their abilities.

The Blog The ArtThe problem is these heroes are built to carry their own stories ,where the often deal with world ending threats so scaling up the situation isn't an option.
It just hit me that Justice League Action is coming this month.
Everyone keep your eyes peeled for anything resembling a release date, I feel that we have to do whatever it takes to get CN to realize that we've been wanting this show a helluva lot more than we did TTG, which should mean talk about it, trend it via Twitter, TiVo it, anything.
Remember, ratings are everything, people.

The fact we had to be reminded it gets released this month takes away my last hopes CN might at least pretend they support and promote the release this time.
Yeah, I'm pretty much assuming we'll get 26 full episodes. At least the 11 min. format will make it seem like we'll get 52 episodes total (heh).
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).When exactly will it air this month. please tell me it's not early Saturday morning.
"We be we baby!"They've got promotional toys at McDonald's already.
Funnily enough, that's what reminded me about JLA.
I was driving past a McDonald's and saw a print ad regarding it and DC Super Hero Girls.
Seriously though, we should really do what I suggested earlier if we want to see more than 26 full-length episodes come out of this show. Sound good?

But... no actual action figure line yet? Uh oh.
This may be old news, but...
So Canada gets it before the US?
Yeah, between this and the Happy Meal toys coming out before the show itself, it's obvious CN isn't interested in a season two for this.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Why does CN hate action cartoons?!
Yeah that question has been thrown a lot among us action fans. So here is a multiple choice where it gives you the reason why:
A) They want to take a different route with their network in the shows they air
B) The comedy shows they make are cheaper and easier to animate than the action ones
C) Their research shows that action shows can't draw an audience like their comedies
D) They're afraid they can't compete with the other action shows on Nick and Disney.
And remember this tidbit, this is what Cartoon Network probably thinks on using action shows not me. I'm in the boat that them promoting these kind of show will draw them more audience due to variety.

C sounds like a self fulfilling prophecy to me...
Just like with the previous DC shows, why would CN ask for them if they weren't going to do anything with them? I really hope JLA gets a longer run than the recently cancelled DC cartoons, but that seems unlikely.
i am so pumped for this.
MIAEnjoy it while you can. I don't think they care.
"We be we baby!"CN doesn't care about the Periphery Demographic.
Ok, I really don't like to start trouble around here, because this is like Nirvana compared to, say, the comments sections on You Tube videos.
But you know what?
I am really not liking the cynicism/downright pessimism that's going on here.
Yes, someone at CN apparently doesn't like action shows. Yes, I get you guys aren't liking the near-radio silence, I don't like it either. But are we really going to let these two things get to us and make us assume the worst?
We shouldn't.
For one thing, it's 2D, which shouldn't make the show anywhere near as expensive as a CG TV show (GLTAS and BTB). Second, it's not grimdark while giving the implication that nothing the heroes do will change anything for the best and it's not being crafted by someone who's notorious for having shows that are too good to last (YJ).
Am I really the only one here who believes that the more we talk about the possibility it'll get axed very quickly, the more likely it WILL happen? Because we have to quit the cynicism.
Besides, if they had so little faith in the show, would they even bother giving it the greenlight in the first place? Plus, do you guys know that this was going to be yet another Batman show?
Shouldn't it be a great thing that it was WB that wanted the creators to go beyond the goddamn Batman and do the freaking Justice League?!
All I'm asking is that we quit the smacktalk until after it premieres, ok? (Especially you, Napoleon. I get you're worried, but let's just calm down and put a pin on the cynicism for now. Alright?) Because it's scaring me. And I don't want to be scared.
'On one hand it'll be really cool to see 150 different DC characters, on the other hand I have no idea how they're going to squeeze all that in.'
Supes, Bats and WW travel across the region capturing them in little balls.
