Once again, Hollywood shits on a rival sector of the entertainment industry, this time sports, specifically football.

That's not to say the NFL didn't have this coming, I'm glad this story is being told, I'm just surprised that Hollywood decided to got through with this shot but not swing with full force. Instead of putting the microscope on the NFL's malpractices, deceptions, showing the doctor finish his analogies to hammer in just how badly designed and unhealthy this is, we spend more time on what the players liked about the game, why the fans like the game, incredible scene of athleticism that make it hard not to fall in love with the spectacle, the economic fallout that motivates the opposition, it's almost like they sympathize with their enemy.

The tortures of not knowing what is wrong are made apparent all the same, it's easy to see why these men, some of whom are millionaires, would want to sue from having this withheld from them. The frustrations the doctor had to go through when he went above the order of duty to verify his finding, those are done very well. The doctor's wife is also lovely here, illustrating how she helped him, rather than the way You Need to Get Laid is usually depicted.

I'm glad Bennett Omalu's story was told on the big screen in a respectful manner. This was a good movie. I'm just found Hollywood's restrained, understanding approach curious.

That's why he wants you to have the money. Not so you can buy 14 Cadillacs but so you can help build up the wastes

[up]I didn't see the movie but from the previews I didn't even know Will Smith played the main character until after a couple of times seeing the previews.

So that proves that he doesn't always play Will Smith in every movie.
