They got Shock Wave from Wattson after beating him. If you talk to Wattson after doing New Mauville then you get Thunderbolt from him. Thunder is bought from the big shop in Lilycove. No TM's are found in New Mauville itself.

They nailed Xenoverse 2 to their Wall of Shame on today's Casual Friday.

I'm a little worried about their fight with Winona, actually, mostly because of Altaria's Earthquake. Their party does not look good against Ground. And when you take that and combine it with Dragon Dance...yikes.
As it stands, I expect either Melvin or Scrunchh to die to it. If I were them, I'd grind the hell out of the party, and make sure to get Skidds to evolve into a Swampert.

EDIT 2: Grant just won against another player and his White Phantom, a 2 on 1 situation.
