Opening. This does appear to be a useful notes page.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. Dick+1 to make it a Useful Notes page.
Useful Note
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Seems like a textbook move.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Yup, useful note land.
In fact, much of the Hollywood History pages seem to be a better fit for useful notes, as they describe actual eras more than fictional depictions.
This is about a real life organisation, with examples both about what tropes are associated with them as they're portrayed in fiction, examples of how they're portrayed in fiction, and fictional equivalents. If it's moved to Useful Notes (which I agree with), some tropes might be better off removed or rewritten to be more about how they're portrayed, rather than troping the real organisation.
Check out my fanfiction!Agree on a useful notes page on the actual templar.
However in fiction, especially fantasy, Templar are kind of a different style of 'Paladin' and not in the same way that our Paladin trope is written. A Templar trope should probably replace it with the real thing being a useful notes.

If this is to be useful notes. There should be more historical background in the description.
+1 for making this a Useful Notes.
^^^^ I think I mentioned something about that in ATT a while back. Hollywood History looks like it needs its own thread for the way it combines "stereotype eras" like One Million BC and The Future together with so many Useful Notes pages that simply aren't tropes. I'd advocate moving those to a new Useful Notes.History index.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"There already exists a trope for the fictional character type that Memers is referring to.
It is, very confusingly, named Knight Templar.
Perhaps we should do a wick check to see if there is widespread confusion between Knight Templar and The Knights Templar?

Useful Notes for The Knights Templar with detailed historical background, should I add it alongside main page (a la The Hashashin) or redirect it there?

^^ I've actually never seen anyone confuse the two. Of course some examples of The Knights Templar may in fact be a Knight Templar.
Since we already have that trope, let's finish this by redirecting Main/ to the Useful Notes page and calling it done.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Bump. Shall I go ahead with the merge, or do we need a crowner for this?
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Went ahead and made that crowner so we can resolve this.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Thanks, it's hooked.
Is this ready to call?

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickAlright, since the UsefulNotes. The Knights Templar page already exists and all or most of the content on that appears to be copied from the Main. The Knights Templar page, I'll see what can be moved over from the latter.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"And done. Virtually everything was there already, so I've redirected it to the Useful Notes page and added a note to the discussion page.
I'll commence with wick cleanup later. I expect a fair amount will be cut, since it's not allowed to use Useful Notes as tropes.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"BTW, I think this thread should be starred.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Main. The Knights Templar is now down to 86 wicks.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Main. The Knights Templar is now down to 40 wicks.
Main.Knights Templar is now down to 42 wicks.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Wicks have now been corrected, so hollering for a lock.
EDIT: Also included a note on the discussion page.

Crown Description:
Vote up for yes, down for no.
The article is a description of the Knights Templar, tropes associated with them, and depictions in fiction. The page also lists tropes that are named after them, so this page is better suited for the Useful Notes namespace.
