- Name: Julio Vazquez Sahagun (current), El Rey, Silvestre Revueltas, Ce Acatl Topiltzin
- Gender: Male
- Status: Immortal
- Age: 1122 Years / 53 Years
- Appearance:
- Julio looks like a friendly middle-age hispanic man. His face is slightly sun-wrinkled, though not enough to remove the traditional charm of his appearance. A well kept black beard, not too long and not too short, adorns his usually smiling face. His hair is barely tied up in a ponytail but kept loose so strands fall all around his face.
- He generally dresses semi-formally. He wears a grey lounge suit, open, with a nicely patterned cream silk shirt. The sort of stuff that blood would be very difficult to take out of. His general “aesthetic” is of someone trying to reclaim their lost youth.
- Alignment: Neutral Good
- Equipment: An official Police Motorcycle, A Synthesizer Keyboard, a Police Badge
- Weapon(s): A Macuahuitl, unadorned yet very well maintained. It is kept inside of a modified keyboard case which he carries around with him most of the time.
- Abilities: Julio is able to make a faint warm light emanate from his body. This was a whole lot more impressive back in the day, and he mostly just uses it to illuminate dark areas nowadays.
- Personality: Julio does not like seeing mortals die or suffer. His personal reason for winning the Game is simply so that someone with more evil intentions would not achieve it and thus bring ruin to the world. He is a rather paternal old man, maybe due to his centuries of life or perhaps simply due to how he sees himself as a heaven-sent “protector” of mortals.
- Bio: Once, Julio used to be the king of the Mexica. Then, he was known as Ce Acatl Topiltzin. He was a just and humane king, doing away with the human sacrifice their ancestors had practiced and instead instilling ways that sated their religious fervor yet did not require killing. At 53 years old, he began dying from a sickness that could not be cured by his priest’s medicine or his prayers. Seeing this as a message from his gods, he set himself on a ship which he commanded his warriors to light on fire once he made it out far enough. There, he experienced his First Death. He made it to shore and rejoiced in his immortality. However, he found himself in a strange land up north. It took him many years to return to his homeland, but by then his people had been destroyed by the Spanish. In seeking to help soothe their pain, he became a composer for a while before disappearing to help other people around the world. About 20 years ago he discovered Castafore Bay, and he set himself on improving their Police Force as much as he could with his knowledge. He’s aware of some vague facts about being an Immortal, such as the Gathering (which he calls the Notza) as well as the Rules and the Quickening. He’s only ever killed two other Immortals, but that was years ago.
- Misc: Julio has been alive for quite a while and has done much good in that time. Thus, he possesses connections to the Castafore Bay Police Department that run in pretty deep.

Love that introduction.
Anyways, time to get down to brass tacks.
This is an RP set in the Highlander universe, wherein Immortal warriors from just about every period of time imaginable face off in duels to the death, where in the end, they will decide who the last man standing will be. For those unfamiliar with the setting and how Immortality works in it, worry not, the Wiki has you covered. Immortals and how they tick, Rules of being Immortal.
This game will be taking place in a vague (allowing for you guys to flesh it out a bit, always did like worldbuilding from players) and generic modern metropolis known as Castafore Bay (basically imagine the plot of the first Highlander set in the modern day). Though not exactly the nicest city to live in, the residents of Castafore Bay aren't likely to take kindly to violent sword duels going on in their streets, nor will they be fond of headless corpses lying about, so fights between Immortals will have to be kept somewhat hidden. Since it's the time of the Gathering, all of your characters will either be arriving in, or have been living in Castafore Bay for a while now. If you have any questions about the setting and city, I will gladly answer them.
With that out of the way, I'd like to set some ground rules for this RP.
First off, do not come into this game unwilling to have your character die at some point. After all, in the end, there can be only one. However, don't worry about your character being offed right off the bat, I'll have plenty of NPC Immortals on hand for your characters to deal with. Should this RP last longer than a few weeks, then I'll start talking about potential PC deaths (even then you are more than welcome to return with another character).
Next, I'd like to humbly request that you keep your character's overall apperance and weapon designs fairly realistic. I'm not asking for incredibly high detailed character art or descriptions, just try to keep it to something that'd fit into a modern-ish setting.
No MacLeods, please. There are already 5 Immortals from the Clan MacLeod in Canon, we don't need anymore.
Finally, just as a reminder to Immortal characters; do not break The Rules of The Game, even The Kurgan and Kane stuck to them.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them.
