The suggestion is good, but I think this similar shot of Wolverine
◊ from the same works even better because he's much more visibly aged than helmeted Magneto, with establishes "future" a lot clearer.
IMO, neither of the two versions sells the time shift of the character well.

I actually think the opposite is true, because Wolverine looks already quite old in his "past" shot (Jackman is much older than Fassbender, and it shows). The fact that his clothes is exactly the same doesn't really help

In Magneto's case the age difference is going to be comparatively harder to make out than with Wolverine at wiki size. The real edge Magneto's pic has is the white line in the middle seperating present and future, which might cause Wolverine to be mistaken for Two-Faced. It could probably be edited in, but something to keep in mind.

I've seen the Magneto pic at wiki size (there's several of them in the previous thread, linked in my OP), and I personally think it's clear enough. I'm less convinced that Wolverine's age difference would be visible.

I think the Magneto pic is a little clearer on the age gap.
Magneto's probably the strongest illustration here, but the older thread has several good options as well. Crowner for those along with the current suggestions?

previous thread, the current image is way too unclear to show anything. Even at its original size, nothing in the pic indicates that the setting takes place in the future.
In the previous thread, I suggested this
◊ comparison shot from X-Men: Days of Future Past but the thread clocked out. Now it was said that there wasn't enough consensus for the Magneto pic, but I counted more than 7 tentative agreement for it, so I'm not sure why it's not enough. Thoughts?
