"Well, well, isn't this a novelty, Aurion?" Wayne grumbled as he gathered his clothes and moved towards the bathroom for his turn, rolling his eyes at Rey's words. "The Faunus is talking to us about being abominations." He closed the door with a little more force than was necessary, then began bathing himself in relative silence.
Allurand and surrounding world loading, 28%..."It would appear to be that way, Wayne.", Tempestas replied, simply shrugging about Rey's obvious sarcasm.

Sanfar jolted awake at the action, her fist rocketing up on a collision course with Vasilios' chin as she rose, murder in her eyes.
Miss or hit, she would pause after the action had been finished to look at Vasilios, who was either unharmed or against the wall. "...Do not wake me like that again." She said quietly.
"I am nature's weapon. You are unfit to carry on your species, and I shall ensure that you do not do so!" - Charles Darwin, XCOM SniperRey took up a position leaning against her bedpost, snapping The Spinner's blades on and off. She was silent for a moment before nodding to Tempestas—again maintaining eye contact.
"Do you think he missed the second jab too, then?" She asked. "I can't tell if he ignored it or is legitimately stupid."
"Most likely the former, Reymond.", Tempestas simply said. "From what I've seen of Wayne, he's no imbecile."
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015"Okay, second question..." Rey pointed. "That was a probe to get a rise out of him; I saw a shot and I took it. Did he actually just call homosexuals abominations, and furthermore did you just agree with him?"
"Yes, to both of your questions. I do not know how you feel on the subject, but to me, there is simply something...wrong about a person being attracted to someone of the same gender.", Tempestas said, unknowingly setting himself up for a debate with Rey...
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015Tempestas set himself up for nothing. Rey really wanted to just smash him in the face with The Spinner right about now... but she needed justification first. "Wrong how? Criminal? Worthy of death? Give me specifics here."
Nonie looked up at the scene. "Is that kind of violence warranted?" she asked.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing."The very idea of it...it's not punishable by death, but it is not something to be proud of. Most romantic relationships usually end up producing children, but there is no natural way to do so between two people of the same gender. It simply goes against natural order, is all.", Tempestas replied.
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015"So that's the only reason any romantic relationships can be valid." Rey stated. "So the infertile and the intersexed probably shouldn't have relationships either."
"I said most relationships, Reymond. Not all.", Tempestas replied to Rey's twisting of his argument.

"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015"But that's the defense you used to justify hating homosexual relationships." Rey shot back. "I asked how it is wrong. You said it isn't natural because it can't result in a child. If you had other reasons to despise someone for eating cake because you're on a diet, please tell me."
Tempestas simply shook his head. "The only reason I have is simply that the idea behind it is just unnatural in my eyes.", he replied, slightly annoyed at how his argument didn't seem to have the effect he intended it to have.

Whatever evil glint that had existed in Vasilos's eyes was very quickly uppercutted out of them as he was sent sailing into the wall, stunned and in pain.
With a yelp and a crack, he reset his jaw. "Noted," he responded to Sanfar, before deciding to sit there for a few moments. Everything was spinning far too fast for his tastes. Surely a minute or two to let the world slow down wasn't unwarranted?
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Kraken stands up. "I'm just going to go to the Great Hall. I don't really give a crap about this and you two are giving me a headache."

That night after initiation, Bao took a top bunk in the ATMN dorm room, not even pausing to listen to any objection. She slept late and woke early the next morning. The soonest chance she got, and avoiding the scrutinizing eyes of anyone else in her dorm, she took to the shower, dressed, brushed her hair, and tied it into her distinct double-bun hairstyle.
Without a schedule and with no activities for an hour and a half, Bao ended up in the dorm living room with a book in hand. She quickly made herself at home in an unusual fashion: splaying out on the couch, shirt hiked up to her belly with one arm hanging over the edge. This was a far cry from the Bao she presented at initiation. In her other hand she held her book open, which she read lazily.
After a moment, she noticed Gerhart and Gareth striding down the corridor past the living room. She kept a critical eye on the prince and his messenger as they quickly took off in the opposite direction. Once they were gone, she went back to reading.
Didn't seem like her partner was awake yet. Perhaps the silence was a good thing.

"Better to be neutral than an enemy." Rey remarked at Kraken. "I feel obligated to say I appreciate that at least..." Much as it pained her to say anything nice to the dingus. She rolled her head back to Tempestas. "Anyway. I suppose your hatred isn't a big deal if it doesn't drive you to hurt people."
Dorm Room
Sanfar took a breath to calm what nerves had been jostled by the event before turning to her fellow female teammate. "Perhaps not, but one should not awaken another warrior in such a manner." She shook her head with a sigh before getting out of the bed and walking over to Vasilios. The Black Knight in training reached a hand down to her teammate in offering. "Let me help you get up."

Nemesis didn't really sleep all that well. Couldn't really say why. She was however already awake when Bao decided to rise and shine herself. Observing her from her bed she could only shrug her shoulders at the secrets the other kept. So did she, really. Although she did not like people being overly secretive with something that she personally saw as non-issue, she understood some might want to keep it that way. After all, not all had the tolerance for women and Fauni alike.
Well, in Nessie's case it wasn't really a secret. She just found her masquerade convenient.
Properly dressed up and androgynous she gave the other two a couple of rough nudges to wake them up before she took off to the training hall. She needed to steel herself a bit, put her mind at ease. Who knew, perhaps there would be someone there that would indulge her in her exercises and offer a spar?

Realizing that he seemed to have a bit of time before everyone managed to get up and make their way down to the Grand Hall, Gerhart figured he'd head over to the training hall and get some practice in before everyone got up for the day, much like he would back at the Monastery. Placing a hand on Macht's pommel, the would-be Knight began to make his way down to the training hall, all while mentally preparing his routine.
Eventually arriving at the training hall, Gerhart took a moment to get to know the area before calling out to Nemesis in his usual gruff tone "Do you intend to practice alone, or shall we square off against each other?"
"I was hoping a spar can be had." She replied, her tone as always androgynous. She didn't take her armor for it, but the caustic blade rested by her side no matter what.
"How do you propose we arrange it?" She didn't get to talk to Gerhart much, but from what little she saw - back in the gardens when Kraken was an idiot - he kept his head on his shoulders to balance that idiot princeling's enthusiasm.

Drawing Macht, Gerhart took a few practice swings at the air in front of him before saying "Normally I would propose fighting to first blood, but seeing as there is a long day ahead of us and I doubt either of us want to spend the rest of it nursing a wound, how about we have at until we are needed at the Grand Hall?"
"Unfortunately, I will have to use a different blade if such is the case." Nessie replied with a grunt. "Raivo's structure turns it caustic once it draws blood, so any further fight would be too dangerous." Moving over to a selection of weapons she surveyed the longswords offered before grabbing the one she felt would be appropriate. A little too unbalanced, but not much could be done with it.
"Hopefully you do not mind." She spoke, putting her own treasured weapon away.

"Yep, nothing goes over your head, Wayne!" Rey called out over the water cascading down her body. "You are too fast, you would catch it! You too, Tempestas!" splashplashplash "Straight shooters, both of you!" She dried off and began slipping on some trousers and a light brown shirt, then popped the door open to make direct eye contact with the both of them. "Your shooting's probably the only straight thing about you two."
