At the Kitchen
"Oh, hey, we're here. Dust, that's a mess." Confronted by the huge stack of dirty dishes, Vestia pauses in the doorway.
Kitchen Duty
Sky looks at the large pile of dishes, and his shoulders sag a bit. There's a certain tone of despair in his voice.
"You've gotta be kidding me...we don't actually have to clean all that, do we?"
His eyes are full of seriousness and hope that it wasn't true when he looks at his teammates. Not to mention his expression of almost comedic disbelief.
Claude gulps and looks back multiple times, in despair, before biting his lips.
"Well, I did the dishes a few times and huh... well..."
He looks at Sky for a moment and prepare to announce the horrible truth, readying himself up.
"Well, let's make them. They'll be grateful if we do, and, heh, dishes never killed anyone, am I right ?" he says, scratching the back of his head. The Huntsman-in-training was pretty embarrassed because of his hesitation.
"And... and if we're scared at the dishes, how are we going to stand tall and fight when we'll have to face the claws of an Ursa ? It's a good training ! Yeah !"
Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad.Night
Raggy came up from behind Marvin, looking less agitated and more worried. "Scarlet, I... think this might have gone a little too far. Getting into police's way is probably not the way to go about this."
"Like..." He gestured a little to no one in particular. "I understand that people sometimes follow you onto the dumbest of things, but... er, getting the attention of OE is probably a bad idea, much less almost fighting them."
grahDorm
Scarlet began pulling off her boots. "Well, it's not exactly like that was part of the plan either. We were defending ourselves against some gang. And then Astra and her goon squad decide to tear gas the whole alley, including us."
She cracked her neck to the side and began removing her jacket. "According to her, your uncles was helping her, Rags. So I'm going to not go out on a limb here and assume that he's a dick."

Dia followed alongside James to the Kitchen, noticing the members of the new team around. She greets them with her trademark straight face. "Hello. It's good to see you all again. You don't mind if I help?"
(That's... a lot of dishes. Who even was supposed to clean them?)
Having learned the ways of stuff around here for quite some time, Dia had picked up on learning how to help the others clean the dishes. Without much delay, a crystal object was formed near her that "grabbed" onto a sponge, as Dia put some soap and water onto it, before getting one plate into the sink and "moving" the crystal holding the sponge to scrub the plate.
This would use some of her Aura thanks to using her crystal to move stuff, but it wasn't too much of a problem since the sponge was pretty light. Still, the three would see that using her Semblance to do this kinda stuff... was a bit odd. Miss prim-and-proper didn't wanna get her hands too dirty.
...ehehStuck with one effective arm, James gave a quiet 'Hello' to the new team before taking a seat in the kitchen. Feeling a little guilty in being unable to assist with those efforts to clean dishes, he quietly went over a list of groceries that he'd pick up some other day.
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.Kitchen Patrol
"Huh. Ah well, best get it done as soon as possible."
The team leader, recovered from the initial shock and now taking charge, rolls up her sleeves and grabs a pair of rubber gloves. She obviously isn't afraid of a little work.
Night Talk
"Ah.So that was the big plan Mom mentioned Uncle is having..." Raggy hummed in thought, rubbing his chin. "I guess someone had to do something about the gangs, but pulling military into it?"
"...hm. On second thought, maybe they do need overwhelming firepower. Valoran juvies are not someone you mess with so easily." The grayhair frowned. "I don't know how actual this is, but some even have access to military-grade equipment themselves...?"
grahDorm
Scarlet gave Raggy a very flat look. "If by military technology you mean that we've never moved away from melee weapons since they've been invented, then yes, juvenile gangs have military tech. If you mean something actually resembling technology, than no, Old Man Junior and some of the more powerful gangs might have that but not the small fries."
Her jacket fell to the floor and her chain uncoiled from around her waist only to move down her arm and coil on her bedside table. "He's also using the biggest tool at VPD to do it as well. And I mean that woman will literally not question any order given to her. She's... unpleasant."

"Well, uh... there's still the case of those feral gangs, like The Megalith. You can't have that running around the streets, can you?" Raggy questioned with a shrug.
"Admittedly, my info is probably out-dated. The last time I ventured into that lion's maw was a while ago."
grahDorm
"Sure Scarlet replied, leaning back on her bed. "But the problem arises when you decide to start hitting innocents in the crossfire. Like, say, I don't know, some Beacon students who are engaged in defending themselves."
The redhead crossed her arms. "My jacket is going to smell like tear gas for a week." She grumbled.
-dramatic music ensues-Night
"Uh, if that Astra lady is as bad as you say, I can see why she would include you... or Halle... or Gage or Cerise or all of you but Selene in the crossfire."
"Like... no offense, but you're all on the radar for the police." Raggy grumbled. "Anyway, tear gas aside, glad you didn't get hurt or anything."
grahDorm
"Oh, geez, thanks. Nothing says "glad you're home". Like "Well you kinda should have expected to be gassed" does." Scarlet replied scathingly.
She disappeared behind the privacy screen for a minute before emerging in her sleepwear. "So can I go to sleep now or are you going to keep lecturing me about how I was the irresponsible one and then get mad when I tell you everyone who was really irresponsible on our little excursion?" She asked, glaring at the two boys.

For a moment it seemed like Raggy will get back at Scarlet, judging by the way his frown grew and how his muscles tensed ever so slightly, but noticeably enough.
"...I guess you're right." But that didn't come. In a mere moment, he deflated into submission, looking away from her. "Wasn't there, so I know nothing."

Marvin sighed deeply as he looked between his partner and his leader. "Hey, come on you two," he began, trying to placate the two, "we're all friends here, let's not start taking shots at one another. Rags and I are just glad you two made it home safely, Red, but please, consider our feelings on such matters before you go out again. Alright?"
"I am nature's weapon. You are unfit to carry on your species, and I shall ensure that you do not do so!" - Charles Darwin, XCOM SniperDorms
"I did." Scarlet replied. "And then I decided that if I told you what I was doing you'd follow me out and put yourselves in danger. And quite frankly I have no desire to let anyone do that for me. Not that it worked of course. In fact I'm pretty sure there were more problems because people came along, but since when has anyone listened to my advice?"
-dramatic music ensues-Dish Duty
Sky sighed, getting a dry cloth ready. He did look at Dia's...uncouth (to him) use of her Semblance.
Wasting Aura on something like dishes? Why?
A spark of a thought shot through his head, and he put the cloth down. Instead, he went over to where the dishes would be packed away and brought out Dark Luna and Empty Sky, the weapons forming out of his arm bands.
"I'll put them away."
Morning
Miss Rayfer, on the other hand, was pretty impressed with what Sky was doing with his weapons.
(Well, that's a pretty good way to use your weapon)
She had done a few dishes from afar thanks to her Semblance allowing her to grab a dish and sponge., as she turned to face James and the grocery list. "Is there anything new we might need to buy?"
...eheh"Well, you're not an island." Raggy muttered from his place before shuffling over to bed, plopping down onto it with a sigh. "It's hard to do aught alone."
"...sure, I guess you don't like it... but who's to say you would manage on your own with all those policemen and gangers?"
grahDorm
Scarlet shrugged and let out a low chuckle. "Give me some credit here, Boss. Its not like I'm dead or even disabled. I've been doing this for years now and I don't have much more than a few scars to show from it."
Even as she said this the number of scars her teammates could currently see in hr state of dress would number upwards of a dozen.
-dramatic music ensues-Dorm
"I fear things might have changed." Raggy grunted into his pillow. "And not for the better either, if police is rolling out with the big guns and heavy weaponry."

Scarlet shrugged. "It was mostly pretty similar to how things used to be. I mean aside from the robots we ended up fighting....Oh and a gang member actually backed down. First time for everything I suppose."

Night- much later
Dia was pretty tired after helping Iris and Morgan with their work. She was about to go to bed when her scroll rang... showing the news report.
The fact that Gage was not around the dorms, as well as the fact that there was, well, gang activity, made Dia pretty suspicious as she drifted off to sleep.
(Gang activity... Gage not around... oh, why?)
