I remember the scene quite well, I just dont remember the grail granting his wish, just funky head visions and then saber oblitherating the grail before it does any thing.
Everyone's a winner! ...except all those people who died horribly in the fire, but who's counting!
Oh, it didn't grant his wish, but it offered the wish to him. He just rejected it.
Exist, pursued by bearIt did partially grant Kirei's wish of seeing the world burn
G was here - 2/9/24Ever since I've been exposed to the "Some people just want to watch the world burn" meme I can't help but thinking Kirei just wants to do petty, asshole things and then watch people's frustration and annoyance. Like taking a bowl and mixing Skittles and M&Ms and then offer them to people.

You know, I've been wondering lately, can animal Heroic Spirits be summoned as Servants? Granted their choice of classes are probably limited to Berserkers and Assassins but still I wonder...
I doubt it, tbh. Most would be noble phantasms at best.
There was the one that became a master, but that was under special circumstances.

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Well not every famous animal could be a another person's NP. Mocha Dick, Gustave, Kesagake, the Tsavo Man-Eaters, and the Beast of GĂ©vaudan are all animals who would probably be Heroic Spirits but lack any human owner to summon them as N Ps.
That said, I really should nail out the idea of Gustave as an Assassin. Or Tama the cat (who was actually deified as a Shinto goddess post-humorously) summoned as a Rider with a Cool Train as her Noble Phantasm. Because why not?
It needs to be sentient, thus possessing a soul
Also..
Mocha Dick
G was here - 2/9/24also, if you're waiting on a post from me
I'm cementing some plot points for Chaldea
This is why I haven't posted. If you do want me to post before you do, do tell me.
G was here - 2/9/24That only applies to weapons. A quote from the wiki on Heroic Spirits:
"The phenomenon applies to any human, animal, or machine that has left behind great enough achievements, but weapons becoming Heroic Spirits from being worshipped (sic) as the "greatest weapon of that era" must harbor a soul to achieve such a status."
Mocha Dick was named such because he was a while that lived near the island of... Mocha. So basically it got it's name for being a dick to ships and it was near Mocha. Unoriginal names for animals are not a new thing it seems... Also, fun fact, it was the whale that inspired Moby Dick.

On the topic of Servants, is it possible for a famous cartoonist to a Servant? If so, what would their class be?
Maybe...would Walt Disney or the Warner Brothers count as cartoonists?
As for class, Caster?

I had an idea for Walt Disney as a Caster class. I figured his Noble Phantasm would be to draw things into existence, specifically things created and/or owned by his company.
Yes. I'm thinking Chuck Jones, and Caster would be a suitable class. What would his Noble Phantasm be?

Sven, you misunderstood - the magus is fighting alongside the soldiers, vs the werewolves.
Exist, pursued by bear@Karrin: Oh, whoops, I'll fix that.
@Josh: A possible idea could be summoning his drawing board and sketching one of his creations into reality?

That sounds like an interesting Noble Phantasm. I think it might be deadly if he summons Bugs Bunny. Don't provoke Bugs, or you'll regret it.
If he teamed up with Caster!Walt Disney they'd be unstoppable! They'd just make up an army of cartoon characters and steamroll every other Servant.

Hell, Wile.E Coyote and Road Runner would be hard enough to deal with; Coyote with his ACME contraptions and RR with his insane speed and Meep! Meep!
, : That would be really awesome. I also found something he said in an interview. Maybe it could be paraprhased and used in a cool speech. Also, thanks for helping me brainstorm a potential Servant.
A Walt Disney servant would be awesome. But then again, I'm pretty biased about that, so... (>__>)
So yeah, I'm just super not-motivated to post here. I'm gonna have to drop out, sorry guys.

Considering Saber obliterated the Cup before it could actually grant any wishes, I don't think anyone "won" so much as "survived" it.
