I can tell what's going on in the anime one a lot better than the manga version. It's not bad but I'd like to see some other options.
I'm not familiar with the manga/anime, but that pic looks like a crude and stereotypical, downright offensive caricature of transgendered people. It may be an example of the trope, but I think the page should have a more neutral image. Also, I don't see the "neighbourhood" part of the trope in the pic, the characters appear to be running on an open field or something?

That was my major gripe as well...plenty of apparent gay, but not a lot of community.
