At least the color scheme is a bit unique, at least for this series' protagonists.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. Also she seems to have let her hair down. Kind of reminds me of Qui Gon Jinn a bit even.
She's still using Luke's lightsaber too, it seems.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I was reminded of Qui-Gon too.
Or a long lost niece.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimIs Ren's blade normal now?
There's plenty of people who unironically think Rey's a Jinn, though.
That being said, that planet in the image looks really cool. It reminds me of Rakata Prime, or rather, the temples in the background remind me of it.

Interestingly enough, speaking of Jedi robes, there's actually nothing in the OT that indicates Jedi had robes as an actual uniform - those could have easily been Obi-Wan and Yoda's scraggly old hermit outfits and nothing else.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."By the same token though there's nothing to indicate they aren't. Considering their warrior monk style, it's hardly a stretch to think the Jedi made drab robes their thing.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimMy personal canon is that the Jedi robes were actually a mark of false humility, in the vein of "Look how ascetically I live, with these drab robes...in this fabulously well-appointed temple/palace, being on personal terms with the leader of the Galaxy..."
A truly humble person wouldn't be like, 'WHO?! WHO DOESN'T WANT TO WEAR THE RRRROBE?!'

"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."But Ghost Anakin appeared in robes when he returned as a Jedi.
- Anakin: Master, why is my Force Ghost so much younger than yours?
- Obi-Wan: You appear as the Force remembers you, Anakin.
- Anakin: The Force considers me young and vibrant? That's quite the compliment. I'm not sure if I'm worthy of it.
- Obi-Wan: No. It's just that this is how you looked the last time the Force could bear to look at you.
- Anakin: Oh. I understand. Because it was ashamed of my fall to the Dark Side.
- Obi-Wan: ...no. Because all of your limbs were cut off and your face melted. It was very distressing to look at.
- Anakin: ...
- Obi-Wan: It's an omnipresent energy field, Anakin. It can be as shallow as it wants to be.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.I think that may have been said at one point in the EU in one of Traviss's books, maybe.

The Force has a thing for wrinkly old Muppets then, Yoda didn't get any sexier in his Force ghost.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimWhen 900 years old you reach, look as good, you will not. Hmm.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyDammit, Legends.
Dammit, Yoda.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimMild note: Dark Rendezvous is actually pretty great. It expands on Yoda and Dooku's relationship and Yoda's darker side as well as Dooku's lighter side.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Total sidenote, but old school Jedi robes look comfy as hell. Like "let's just take a nap in this thing" comfortable.
Look sometimes you get fucked up on spice during a mission and shit just happens.
"You wanna buy some deathsticks?"
-Obi-Wan has flashbacks-
Qui-Gon: "Look, we're undercover. Sometimes a Jedi's got to do what a Jedi's got to do. Trust me, Master Yoda loves this stuff."
-End flashback-
"You don't want to sell me any deathsticks."
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimI guess that explains why Obi-Wan looked 60 when he was 50.

A better look at Rey's new outfit from the movie◊. It looks a LOT like Jedi robes.
