SOLDIER's are made with Mako and Jenova Cells. See my earlier quote from Cloud.
But yeah, Last Order is pretty non-canon at this point. There were some arguments for it back before Crisis Core but not anymore.
And please no Genesis in the FFVII remake.
Well, easy way to get a cacophonic girl on Tifa's good side is a roller coaster that's part rail shooter. Mog's a treat too.
Burning love!I'm always surprised when a new episode is released. I keep forgetting it's not on the same schedule as the others.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!I'm liking Cait Sith every bit as much as I expected to. I like the hints to his identity reveal and him bonding with Cloud was an unexpected treat.

Burning love!I'[m also liking the Tiffa-Yuffie galmance.
Man they are cranking these out.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. They do a full production run at once. They aren't making them fast, they're just in the can already.
...I have never wished for the death of a fictional character more than I have for this iteration of Yuffie.
Thank you Team Four Star, for that.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!She does seem cool...so death will also be cool.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I love this version of Cait so much.
My relationship with Cait has always been an odd one. I hate Cait himself, but I like Reeves.
Improving as an author, one video at a time.I keep watching Yuffie sing the fanfare.

Burning love! Was Dyne suppose to be Sephiroth or Liquid Snake?
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. So, what's up with Marlene's age? According to the wiki, she's 4 years old in the game, but both Team Four Star and cloudstrife8's series (and maybe The Sevening?) had her at 8 years old. Is that a reflection of something in the history of the game or that of its fandom?
I loved this episode so much. Dyne's craziness and Cloud not shutting up was amazing.
Thinking on it, I think these past episodes have grown on me much more. The Yuffie/Tifa thing has won me over, I love this version of Cait Sith and his relationship with Cloud, Cloud has been amusing me way more, and so on. So yeah. I'm in a happy place with it!

Improving as an author, one video at a time.I'm honest curious if Scarlet really wanted to fuck Barret, or if that was just him over-embellishing that aspect of the story.
Given what she did to Reeves, I'd lean towards the former.
Improving as an author, one video at a time.Anyone else find it hilarious how Dyne is just obsessed with coal?
Is it weird I was expecting him to pull out a chunk of black materia when he talked about the coal talking to him?
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaThat would be fucking hilarious.
He uses it for his Limit Break: summoning ULTIMATE COAL.
Regrettably, the coal takes about a week to arrive.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Doesn't Coates say that Dyne eats coal as he mows down his victims? Maybe that's why he calls it a coal-gun, he believes that he literally feeds it ammo.
Does anyone here believe that Yuffie counts as an Unpopular Popular Character right now? She and Tifa are getting famously, Barret seems to mostly ignore her now that she's a fixture of the party (his rage in her debut episode cannot be ignored though) and Aerith hasn't shown any hostility for a long time.
The maker of the OVA was probably trying to come up with a way of justifying the scene and consequentially got his timeline confused. Fixing what ain't broke and all that. There's really nothing narratively wrong with a third-rate nobody managing through pure adrenaline to pull out a win against the greatest SOLDIER of all time.
Especially when the latter has been killing people all day and is probably exhausted by this point, not to mention bleeding out from a really big stab wound. And especially when Cloud's victory consists primarily of shoving him off a cliff rather than actually out-dueling him in a swordfight.
It's unlikely and required a perfect storm of narrative circumstances that allowed it to happen, but that's kinda the point of a protagonist. Sephiroth rolled the dice too many times and finally came up with a Nat 1. Life happens like that sometimes. And then our story picked up following the one lucky bastard who actually managed to do it.
It is not a Contrived Coincidence for the protagonist to succeed in a thing despite unlikely odds. It only seems so due to sampling bias. If he wasn't the one guy who succeeded at the thing where all others failed, we wouldn't have been following his story. We'd be following the story of the other guy, the one who succeeded. If Zangan had hurled Sephiroth off the cliff instead of Cloud, Final Fantasy VII would probably be the story of Zangan and his merry Dungeon of Fisting.
