Okay I've set up a new page but I've run straight into a brick wall on the indexing. I've read How Indexing Works but I'm none the wiser.

Okay the page is: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Literature/Namelesswar which falls firmly into the category of Military Science Fiction, which there is already an index for: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MilitaryScienceFiction I've tried putting in the page in the literature examples, no link is forming.

Obviously I'm doing something wrong but for the life of me I can't figure out what. Can anyone offer insight or enlightenment?

Fixed it for you.

"Namelesswar" counts as a single word, so in order to link it you need to write it as {{Namelesswar}}. NamelessWar, on the other hand, is two words (namesless and War), so CamelCase works and you don't need the curly brackets.

Note that, as far as the wiki is concerned, Literature.Nameless War and Literature.Namelesswar are the same page.

I have a similar issue that I'm slightly panicked over. There's a game called "Labyrinth Of Time" that has two pages dedicated to itself, but only one has the data for the page, with "The" in the title. and the WMG page is all by itself. I added the correct data page to the video game index, but there's still some blank pages that I would like to know how to get cleaned up. I don't want to get caught on the wrong side again due to simple accidents, if you know what I mean.

[up] I moved the WMG page to WMG.The Labyrinth Of Time and cutlisted the old one.

Sorry if I sound very dumb , but even after reading this: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Administrivia/HowIndexingWorks?from=Main.HowIndexingWorks I still don't get why these :

https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Funny/BarbieInRocknRoyals

https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Heartwarming/BarbieInRocknRoyals

are referred as "not indexed" while I put the movie here:

https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Heartwarming/WesternAnimation

in the first place to create them. I erased it, and erased what was in the two pages, but they just won't go away and I still don't understand what "blank edit" means, if it is not that.

Can someone tell me how you make this pages appearing as indexed, if put them on the heartwarming or funny index is not what should be done?

Ok, forget it, the indexing finally appeared. I couldn't get why indexing heartwarming or funny page did not worked apparently, but that was I had to do.

You have to edit the index article after you create the article to be indexed.
