Oh also someone's expressed concern to me that you might be expecting another player to take the role of the Servant's master? If so, let me inform you right now that's not going to happen and, if I understand how Fate works in this regard, is physically impossible for almost every player

That is fine, I would just like an excuse as to why they dont just de-materialize in that case, since by the new rules I cant actualy play there master.

Is it okay for me to play a chunkless faction, with an airship? The crew are the faction (no NPC's or other population) but I figured I would ask (I'm heading towards playing the Storm Hawks).

You're not the first to ask this. My ruling was that the airship must have NO weapons whatsoever outside of potential anti-air guns for self defense only. Does the airship in question meet these requirements?

If needed, said weapons can be disabled on arrival.

The Condor has two manually aimed and operated energy cannons that are used for non-lethal shots at the other transportation of choice in Atmos, flying motorcycles. They're only ever used for self defense.

Team Teen Titans.

Main Character

  • Name: Robin( Dick Grayson)
  • Age: Teenager
  • Appearance: Just like this.
  • Personality: Serious to a fault and idealistic. He can be pragmatic sometimes, cold and obsessed with a mission to the point he can neglect others. Nevertheless he is loyal, determined, dedicated and a great leader. He is a very reliable person and someone all the other titans look up to.
  • Powers: Robin has no superpowers. He is a peak human for someone his age. He was trained in many martial arts, in stealth and as an acrobat.
  • Equipment:
    • Besides his superhero clothing, Robin wears an utility belt with several gadgets among them: a radio communicator, batarangs, explosives, smoke bombs, and a grappling hook.
    • He has a boo staff, a weapon he excels with.
  • Backstory: Dick Grayson had a circus act until his parents died in a tragic "accident." After leaving his adopted father “Batman," Robin soon formed a group of superheroes in Jump city known as the Teen Titans. He has lead them through many dangers. His personal nemesis was the mercenary Slade Wilson. No matter the situation he has lead the teen titans for the greater good.

• Supporting Cast

  • Name: Cyborg.
  • Age: Teenager
  • Appearance:Just like this
  • Personality: Fun loving to a fault, he is a blend of Beast boy's and Robin's personalities. He can be goofy and silly when the situation is relaxed or serious and focused just like Robin.
  • Powers/Equipment
    • He has a cybernetic body, as his name implies, that grants him super strength, stamina and enhance toughness. He is a master engineer, hacker and an expert in technology.
    • Detachable body parts.
    • He is a living computer.
    • Sonic canon arm as his main weapon.
    • several gadgets used for manipulating electronics.
  • Backstory: Once a promising athlete, an unfortunate accident left his body damaged to the point that he had to become a cyborg to survive. Although the experience left him forever scared, he gained the power to save the world. He now enjoys life as a teen titan doing his best to save the world.

  • Name: Beast boy
  • Age: Teenager
  • Appearance:Just like this
  • Personality: The prankster of the group a jokester and a source of a lot of bad puns, beast boy brings and ever present optimism to the group even in the darkest of situations. He is best friends with cyborg and ironically he is also a vegetarian.
    • He hasrough limit of no larger then a decent sized bus in pure mass, and no larger then 20 feet in height and/or length. So something like, say, an elephant, would be out.
    • He can take th form of a large anima without its mass.
  • Powers: He has the power to change his mass on the spot and transform into any animal that exists or has ever existed. As a drawback all his transformations retain a green tint.
    • nerf: He can shape shift and take the form of big animals but without their mass or strength.
  • 'Backstory As an ex-member of of the doom patrol, Beast boy was no stranger to being a superhero or being the youngest member of a team. When joined the teen titans, he found something greater than mere teammates—true friends. With a not so subtle crush towards Raven, Beast Boy looks at a bright future saving the world with his friends.

  • Name: Raven Roth
  • Age: Teenager
  • Appearance:Just like this
  • Personality: As an introvert an a polar opposite of Starfire, Raven has trouble connecting with others. This condition is worsened by the fact that she has to keep her emotions in check. She usually sports a serious and monotonous personality. This doesn't mean she is emotionless, she can be caring to others. She likes dark and depressing things.
  • Powers: Magic abilities with a multipurpose function that give her the following abilities ( usually through a magic chant:Azarath Metrion ZINTHOS")

  • Spell-casting. Her magic capabilities were left vague in the show but she isn't a large scale reality warper and her spells usually required a lot of concentration and meditation to work. I would ask you permission for a complex spell through PM (it wouldn't be common if at all)—if you allow me. From the get go, I would only request:
  • Magic knowledge: So That she could recognize certain magic.
  • Shadowy constructions. Nothing fancy: walls, shields (bullet proof at least, big explosions would break it), for certain small to medium size objects. She is not a green lantern, so this power would be much more limited– to street level. Nothing gigantic or game breaking. To balance this power I would propose that extreme concentrated light would weaken them. Just like telekinesis they would get weaker if she loses concentration.
  • Portals for transportation
    • Basic established nerfs on this to make a cooldown of like 10 seconds between any use of this in order to prevent spaming and limit her to only teleporting to areas she's personally seen.
  • Ability to control shadows: This just means that she can make a place darker in a small area and control casted shadows.
  • Intimidation power: Anyone unlucky enough to gets caught in her cloak would see her true demon self. This could scare to death your average mook. I would leave to each player decide the effect–if any. Assuming they get caught that is.
  • Telepathy/Thought projection: For balance purposes, I would like to think of it as a phone call: She "calls" and if the other person "resists" (doesn't pick up the phone) she wouldn' be able to communicate. The main perk would be that she could comuunicate in a way that is much more private and reliable than radio.
  • Astral projection she would be able, through meditation, to use her souls as a "ghost." She couldn't be harmed (by normal means ex kinetic weapons ), but she couldn't harm either. I would use this power to explore. To balance this power she wouldn't be able to reach any place that is "magically protected." Her body would also be vulnerable to harm, in this state. it would be defenseless and even vulnerable to be possessed by another soul.
    • Nerf:A range limit. Nothing hard, but the further she goes, the harder she has to concentrate/focus, and presumably this would drain her of power a bit once she returns for a time.
  • Pseudo-Intangibility: she can go through objects, but she isn't exactly Kitty Pride so any kind of shielding or protection should keep her out.
  • nerf:Hard 3 second limit per use with a cooldown of 1 minute due to easy ghosting abuse potential
  • Telekinesis: The power to control objects with her mind and simulate flight.
    • Concentration limit: Canonically her powers malfunction when she isn't focused. This way she couldn't control too many objects , and she would lose control if something makes her lose her focus (say a sonic attack).
    • Weight limit: Uppermost limit being a van—But she would struggle, like carrying a lot of bags from a grocery store, and it would require a lot of willpower making her much more vulnerable to lose concentration and drop the object in the spot.
    • Dodging: In canon Raven's telekinesis required a shadow as a visual representation of it. This would give other players a chance to outrun and even dodge it.

  • Trigun's influence:
    • This would be after Trigun was banished by Raven the White . Just like the show, if she lost control of her emotions she would lose control of herself. She would indeed aquire a more demonic aspect and defenitively become much more evil.
    • If she lost control of her emotions, an gave in completely to her dark side, she would acquire a small powerboost and a form that would resemble her father's (including the four eyes). But she would lose control and become a threat to enemies and friends alike. She would be uncontrollable, unpredictable and unstable.

  • Equipment: Spell books that give her information about Magic.
  • 'Backstory Daughter of a human woman, and of a extremely powerful but evil demon father. Raven was destined to destroy the world and open the door for her father to conquer the world. Raven defied this destiny as she decided to become a hero and suppress her half demon side. Her self discipline requieres an extreme control in all her emotions.Although she might seem uncaring at times, she is a heroine and a true friend at heart.

  • Name: Starfire.
  • Age: Teenager
  • Appearance:Just like this
  • Personality: Without a doubt the heart of the group, she is sweet honest and kind. She looks the best at everyone and she wants to become friend with all. She always look at the best of each situation and she is by far the most optimistic and idealistic. She is very strange due to her alien costumes and very sentimental. She is very naive, but not stupid.
  • Powers: The strength of her powers depends and fluctuates according to her emotions.
    • Flight:As fast as any ship or even more so
    • Superhuman strength ( Strong enough to lift a car at least)
    • Superhuman agility, reflexes and endurance. ( considerably higher than a human)
    • Limited invulnerability ( she is very though and bulletproof , but she isn't superman)
    • Immunity to radiation and intense cold and heat.
    • Energy projection: Starblasts/Starbolt eye-beams: She projects energy beams that she can charge.
    • Language simulation (via lip contact): She learns any language instantly by kissing someone.
  • 'Backstory
Starfire is an alien princess from the world of the far away world of Tamaran. She was raised as a warrior and to think of"kindness" as a a weakness, Yet she always manages to be a sweet and kind person. She was sold as an slave by her treacherous sister Blackfire. She eventually became a superhero after a a misunderstanding with Robin. Showing her sweet personality. She is one of the greatest heroines in the planet and the heart that joins the group together.

I am afraid I have some bad news. Dick Grayson is already in use as part of a Batman chunkless group and thus is unavailable. And I would recommend just going chunkless if you prefer not to do the "city management" aspect of the game.

Y'know, the Robin up there is not only younger than the current Nightwing, but has a radically different personality. Might be interesting to see them play off one another. Unless, of course, the Cure has an embargo on parallel versions of characters.

Having watched the Teen Titans Animated Series, they actually never specifically say that Robin is Dick Grayson, even though it is clear from subtext that he is supposed to be the Dick Grayson Robin. Everyone in the series itself just uses their codenames with very few times that actual names are mentioned, but Robin's is never mentioned. Also I would also advise the person signing up to go chunkless since he would still have the most of the benefits of Titan's Tower as a chunkless group.

I think there was a Word of God interview that he wasn't supposed to be any Robin in specific.

I personally think it would be pretty cool to have two different robins and have the whole original team of teen titans. Comics's battleworld had various alternate versions interacting. Granted this doesn't have to be like that but it was pretty cool.

Thank you for the ideas GG and Liz.

But whatever you decide Meanken it's fine.

Btw I think I'm going chunkless with Titan's tower, if possible.

Well I'm waiting to get a hold of the Batman player but baring major objections from him, I'm willing to allow the Titans, and will review it once I get that.

Also to clarify, you won't have the tower itself. The way chunkless groups work is that they get assigned their own rooms in the hub area of Battleworld, which is allowed to be a canon area from their own series. So you'd have most of the interior of the tower, just not the tower itself, if that makes sense.

Right. To the review

  • Beast Boy
    • There's going to be a size limit to what he can shift into. I'm going to give a rough limit of no larger then a decent sized bus in pure mass, and no larger then 20 feet in height and/or length. So something like, say, an elephant, would be out.
  • Raven
    • General-This is the character I was most concerned about. In general, most of this is going to read "I need more detail", just due to the high limits to her power level compared to, say, Robin.
    • Telekinesis-always tricky to deal with in an RP. Very tricky. I may have to remove this completely.
    • Telepathy-I have no issue with thought projection/mental communication, but I cannot allow anything along the lines of mind reading or mental suggestion, and for his particular power I'm going to have to insist on more detailed information on the limits of what she can and cannot do with it.
    • Spell Casting-Just tell me a little more about what kind of spells she can cast? Is light/dark magic it or can she do more? And is any of it useful beyond "Harm the enemy?"
    • Teleportation portals-Basic established nerfs on this to make a cooldown of like 10 seconds between any use of this in order to prevent spaming and limit her to only teleporting to areas she's personally seen.
    • Telekinetic spells-You more or less wrote this twice. See above
    • Intangibility-Hard 3 second limit per use with a cooldown of 1 minute due to easy ghosting abuse potential.
    • Other important stuff-Please enlighten me to the status of Trigun here? I seem to recall in some incarnations she has to keep her emotions in check least she accidentally summon him. It should be blatantly obvious this will not be allowed here. If you'd like to propose other effects of her losing control of her emotions along those lines (Maybe a demonic transformation into something resembling him for a time, possession, I'm open to ideas).
  • Starfire
    • Flight-Speed limit is going to be at something approaching normal plane speed. I can't allow ya to go as fast as a jet or anything along those lines
    • Limited Invulnerability-Just a note that I do indeed expect this to be very limited, and will be stepping in if I feel you're going overboard.

Hello there, Meanken . Thank you for reviewing.

I'm still unsure about the whole power levels on the game, so I hope I'm not going overboard. I would like to comment on the following:

Beast Boy

  • That's very reasonable. I would only request, if you want: Size without mass for bigger transformations–just to give a flashy effect. Say an elephant with weight/mass of a leopard. It would look cool, but it wouldn't be able to have any of its strength. Appearance without power. That way anyone with reasonable strength could push him away and even carry him, regardless if he looks like a T-rex or not.
Raven
  • She is definitely the hardest no doubt. In the show she was the most powerful, in theory, but in practice her powers were much more manageable.
  • Telekinesis: I can understand this power can be exploited. But I would request this power to be kept. The main reason is that this was Raven's main offensive power. It's as signature for her as Dio's time stopping powers or even Flash's speed. However I think that her power could work with these proposed nerfs and limitations:
    • Concentration limit: Canonically her powers malfunction when she isn't focused. This way she couldn't control too many objects , and she would lose control if something makes her lose her focus (say a sonic attack).
    • Weight limit: Uppermost limit being a van—But she would struggle, like carrying a lot of bags from a grocery store, and it would require a lot of willpower making her much more vulnerable to lose concentration and drop the object in the spot.
    • Dodging: In canon Raven's telekinesis required a shadow as a visual representation of it. This would give other players a chance to outrun and even dodge.
  • Spells This one is kinda tricky as the show didn't really explain how they work. Sadly this means I couldn't give a list. I would ask you permission for a complex spell through PM (it wouldn't be common if at all)—if you allow me. From the get go, I would only request:
  • Knwoledge in magic so thatshe could recognize certain magic.
  • Telepathy/ Thought projection:
    • For balance purposes, I would like to think of it as a phone call: She "calls" and if the other person "resists" (doesn't pick up the phone) she wouldn' be able to communicate. The main perk would be that she could comuunicate in a way that is much more private and reliable than radio.
    • For astral projection she would be able, through meditation, to use her souls as a "ghost." She couldn't be harmed (by normal means ex kinetic weapons ), but she couldn't harm either. I would use this power to explore. To balance this power she wouldn't be able to reach any place that is "magically protected." Her body would also be vulnerable to harm, in this state. it would be defenseless and even vulnerable to be possessed by another soul.
  • Trigun:
    • I think this would be after Trigun was banished by Raven the White . Just like the show, if she lost control of her emotions she would lose control of herself. She would indeed aquire a more demonic aspect and defenitively become much more evil.
    • A cool idea would be that if she lost control of her emotions, an gave in completely to her dark side, she would acquire a small powerboost and a form that would resemble her father's (including the four eyes). But she would lose control and become a threat to enemies and friends alike. She would be uncontrollable, unpredictable and unstable.

Starfire

  • I probably might make some mistakes while I get to understand the whole game's overall power level. If I do I'll edit them. Would being bullet–proof be reasonable?

@Dblade. Thank you very much! That's very cool of you. I would love to plan something with ya. I currently don't have any ideas. But if you have something I would love to try!

  • Beast Boy-I find this reasonable. Accepted.
  • Raven
    • telekinesis-After I made my comment, others also approached me to clarify/explain this better. With these limitations, I am prepared to accept it. I do request you add that clarification to the sheet.
    • Spells-No problems with anything here.
    • Telepathy-Sure, that should be fine
    • Astral Projection-Just one thing I'd like to add is a sort of range limit. Nothing hard, but the further she goes, the harder she has to concentrate/focus, and presumably this would drain her of power a bit once she returns for a time
    • Trigun-Ok, all noted and fine.
  • Starfire-Sure, so long as she does not tank missiles to the face or anything

With all that said, assuming no objections on your part, you are accepted and will be added to the game tomorrow when I post.
