I can't read anything in OP's image.
I was thinking of suggesting the tech tree from Ultimate Domain (aka Genesia) but I'm not sure the text would be any more readable at wiki size than the original suggestion.
I'm fine with the OP suggestion unless we can find something clearer.

The use of colour in the OP makes it a lot more distinctive than 14, I think.

I think that looks more like a relationship or category diagram or something like that. It's less "more advanced stuff" and more "more specific stuff".

At small size, it's hard to tell that's a tech tree; looks more like just a set of connected buildings.
