What did she do that was manipulative? She sneaked out to meet him while pretending to be a common girl, but that's basically what adventurous princesses do, they sneak out of the palace in disguise to meet with dashing low class strangers. It comes with the territory.
I've been thinking that the seventh may actually have nothing to do with the Demon Lord but is just someone who wants to help out and because everyone assumed they would be a Brave (ie Nashetanya), with the temple itself being created as a trap for the Braves created by the Saint of Seals who was the real traitor.

Knowledge is Power, Guard it Well^^ Not that. I just don't believe in her flirty attitude, so the whole thing seemed like she was trying to play on his sympathies.
I mean, if it's unfounded then great, she's a nice quirky girl or whatever, but for now I don't trust her.
When you say the Saint of Seals, you mean the previous one, right? Because it was mentioned that the current Saint of Seals is still too inexperienced, so they couldn't have made that trap.

Yes. I find it a little suspicious that the one who made it isn't around any more and the current isn't powerful enough to do anything about it yet.
Knowledge is Power, Guard it Well@Recyth
Adlet never had crush on Nashe, he just liked her as a friend. He even tells this straight to Goldof. Considering that Nashetania and He still have a good relationship, I don't see where the back-peddling is coming from. For that matter he doesn't a lovers relationship with Fremy either. They merely gotten to know each better thanks to a twist of fate in their circumstances.
@Sebastian Gray, To be more precise the original Saint of Seals died 4 years ago and the current one is too young and cannot control her power to level to do this.

Nash has been doing a lot of 'look, I'm sorry for doing this shady thing, but you trust me, right, don't you?'
Even when she's not doing that, she's being very, very weirdly clingy and treating her friendship as transactional. Like I said, shady.
What's precedent ever done for us?Damn, Chamo is Ax-Crazy
Weaponized bulimia.
I hope Chamot gets punched in the face.
Chamo may well be more of a threat to the team than the actual traitor
I wonder how much Adlet still has left up his sleeves. Guys gone through dozens of bombs by now.
He has exactly as many explosives and weapons as the plot requires him to have. I mean, didn't he note back when he was with Flamie that he was running low on gunpowder and wanted to borrow some of hers?
I guess Miss Bunny is the last hero left with any kind of development. If it's not Chamot, Flamie, Adlet or Hans then it's basically got to be her or someone we know next to nothing about. I don't see how she could have done it though. Looks like Adlet has a guess, though, but Chamot had to pick this moment to be annoying and psycho.
Oh, wait, she's always like that.

Well, Hans, that was an...interesting way of verifying Adlet's words.
First it was Adlet/Nasche, then Adlet/Flamie, and now it's Adlet/Hans. Adlet sure loves changing his dance partner.
Darn it, Chamot! At least you could've heard what Adlet had to say, then go straight into Extermination Modenote ! Also, she ain't the culprit on grounds of her not giving a crap about all that.
Don't. Want. To. Suspect. Maura!

It's gotta be either Maura or Naschy at this point. Well- I suppose I can't actually rule out Goldov, but that'd be pretty out of nowhere.
Naschy feels like the more likely or the two, but I think I'll reserve judgement on that point until I hear what she's got against Hans.
Though I still kind of feel like none of them are going to turn out to be evil. Well- except in the way that Chamo and to a lesser extent Hans totally are evil.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Hans strikes me more as Neutral in D&D alignment parlance. Even Chamot is more Chaotic Neutral than evil. Goldof is clearly Lawful Neutral though.
Well, Hans is a contract killer, so he'd be Evil if this was D&D, but I don't think he's a particularly bad guy. If nothing else, he's too pragmatic.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure neutral folks generally need a reason a bit stronger than 'boredom' to justify murdering the entire party.
And anyway, if we're talking D&D terms, I'm pretty sure Flamie would also ping as Evil.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Flamie I'd register as Lawful Evil to Neutral Evil, because she's got her own internal code but she's definitely willing to do stuff to further her own goals at will. Hans I'd actually argue would go Chaotic Neutral; he's evil, but evil because it's his job and not because he necessarily enjoys it (from what I've seen so far at least) so I wouldn't necessarily call him a bad guy, you know?
Oh, but Chamot is definitely Neutral Evil or Chaotic Evil. She's very self-absorbed and willing to kill potential threats to her at the drop of a hat and has demonstrated no real moral code as yet beyond respecting Maura...and even that I think is more about Maura's strength.

deviantArt | TwitterMurdering people for money doesn't make you much better than murdering people for fun. It still shows you don't value life too much. There are numerous ways to mitigate that but we haven't seen any yet with him.
@Arha
There was never a point Adlet ever said he was running out of bombs. That box you see him carry is what he actually uses to restock his tools.
Pretty sure he wanted to borrow gunpowder from Flamie though.
Maybe it was a "I could probably make do with less than 50 bombs on me, but I'd really prefer to have at least 60 just in case, so I'm gonna need some gunpowder" kind of thing?
Give the God Eater game thread some love!I believe he had less than a dozen with him at the time- he didn't toss that much stuff on the ground when he made a show of disarming himself in front of Hans- but then Hans let him get inside the temple where the rest of his stuff is, so he could restock there.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."I meant all the bombs he has, including any in that box of his.
Give the God Eater game thread some love!
Hm, I don't think Hans is the culprit. Otherwise, he wouldn't be trying to kill Adlet with such conviction.
...Of course, if looked at another angle, he's doing this to keep suspicions away from himself.
Wow, those villagers sure were quick to believe the words of that fiend. That fiend's quite the smooth operator, huh? Flamie wouldn't have existed otherwise.
