@Locoman: sorry, I forgot to mention that the Protectobot Headquarters has ended up in the industrial district, the best place for its well-worn facade to blend in.

Also, what do you think of Cybertronians being able to 'erase' their faction symbols from their vehicle modes when needed? I just realized that if both our teams had visible faction symbols, Streetwise and Groove would immediately pull back and try to lead Prowl and company out of the city.

We got Kyoji and Amuro, the two that started the Super Robot and Real Robot series.

I might push back the main event for a bit, seeing as how we've got some character interaction going on that I'm loathe to interrupt, as well as a confrontation brewing with Preytor.

If these people have difficulty with the concept of submarines, we're going to have to take advantage of this.

Amuro will then point out that Submarines are typically nuclear powered where he comes from. He had to fight several.

Although my next problem is exactly where to have Unit-00 turn out to be.

For reference, Streetwise sounds like John Stewart, Groove sounds like Frank Poncherello, and Blades sounds like Raphael. Haven't figured out what Hot Spot and First Aid sound like.

I'm starting to have second thoughts about joining. Sure, playing a giant mantis sounds fun on paper, but when you can't talk to anyone or do anything beyond mindless rampaging, it kind of limits how much fun you can have.

Surely there's plenty of giant robots to choose from once Preytor is disposed of. How about, oh, I don't know...

And besides, everyone ganging up to kill the bug is as good an icebreaker as any.

If I can make a suggestion as to what to do with Preytor, perhaps the new arrivals could prompt it to make a run for the water, and then the arriving creature can show off what a badass it is by biting the unsuspecting mantis in half?
