What is 100-Mario Challenge, anyway?

100 Mario Challenge is a mode where you can choose Easy, Normal, or Expert and you have 100 lives maximum to complete 8 (Easy) or 16 (Normal and Expert) levels made by the community.
You can get upto 3 extra lives in each level you play.
10 Mario Challenge is similar to 100 Mario Challenge but it doesn't have a difficulty mode and every level is pre-installed on the game.

No in SMB 3 it is the super leaf, in SMW it is the feather, and NSMB it is propeller hat.

Yeah, the Mystery Mushrooms and the Big Mushroom from the two flavors of the anniversary Mario amiibo are exclusive to the SMB1 look.

... Point. I kinda forget Mario Kart 8 existed. Doesn't help that I never got the DLC either.

It'd be cool if we got an update somewhere down the line that added the ability to play as all these other characters in the other settings...but it sounds like it would be too much work to do so.
