Those do at least look a little more obvious than the OP.
3 is much better, given the family setting. I can't tell that the people in the OP suggestion are parent and child.
3.1 in larger, higher quality is fine; otherwise, 3.2 works.

I feel that the manga version is better, it actually looks like the father slapped the main character. If we did use the anime version, someone probably get confused by it and thought "an invisible person hit the desk and the main character" rather than "father slapped son".

That seems like an elaborate and unlikely interpretation; but I like the manga (3.2) better, too... among other things, it is designed to communicate the information in one frame.
