I can confirm that this has happened to other pages. Examples include Pantheon.Treasures, Pantheon.Combat Other and Sandbox.R-lock256.

In the Fridge page for the Iron Giant ( https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Fridge/TheIronGiant
) when I added an entry suddenly \ appeared in every word that had a ' in it and I don't seem to be able to remove them. Each attempt seems to just add more \\ to the page. Sadly I don't have the time right at the moment to try to look for advice so I decided to put this post up and check back in a few hours.
