Well, the first name of a Skyblazer commonly relates to their (supposed) element, though just as many do whatever. Skyblazers don't get a last name until they successfully pilot their Gigan. The last name is thus theirs to decide, therefore Skyblazer marriages don't result in last names being changed.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Oh boy. A name related to Slag's gonna be a challenge to come up with.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Well, there are plenty of Skyblazer "elements", ranging from the classics of Fire/Water/Earth/Wind to things like Sound and silly/oddly specific things like Dust. The color of their eyes also serve as a modifier (thus as Electricity aka yellow/gold providing precision), so there's a constantly growing variety of Skyblazer abilities. You could say they're the first to possess the element/combination they possess, and Skyblazers wouldn't have even called it Slag anyways.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Uh... How about Rocky?
off the shitsIt might help if you broke down the exact qualities you'd like you're abilities to possess. That could make it a lot easier to come up with something that fits.
I will admit, I haven't defined every color for Skyblazers because of how elements can have various associated colors. Though several are rather set, as shown with red/purple/yellow/blue (fire gravity electricity ice). Some "elements" can also fall under various shades, such as Stella's orangey hair allowing her to be a pyrokinetic (though admittedly more in a Power of The Sun kind of way).
Though upon thinking about it, that might be a reason nobody has made a Skyblazer yet. Speaking of, do the Skyblazer segments in the Manual describe them well enough?
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."For whatever reason, I was under the impression we weren't allowed to.
off the shitsThe basic idea behind Slag is that it is a damage accelerant. That is, if you punch someone in the face, it's going to hurt them. But if you dump a bucket of slag on them, then punch them in the face, it would, for them, be like getting hit with a baseball bat.
It doesn't work on its own for combat. But in conjunction with something - or someone - else, Slag can turn even the weakest of strikes into a blow to be feared. I imagine it would be a liquid, something like water, but slightly more viscous. Maybe oil-like, but without the tendency to catch fire?
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."@Daydre: Why would you have that impression? Skyblazers were an important part even back in Destiny Drive's proto-concept (fun fact, Ars were the main characters there), and it would be pretty weird introducing them if I wasn't going to let anyone play as one. That's like an MMORPG reserving an entire character class for NPCs only.
@Sparty: Hmm... Well their powers do find some root in reality, but sufficiently random/advanced biology is also an established thing. Poison is probably the best element you'll want to use to support or in place of Slag.

"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."@Sparty: Perhaps something in the vein of a corrosive-effect? Or perhaps crystallizing your targets, rendering them brittle? Earth is the traditional elemental super-type for things like acidic or crystalline powers, so maybe that could work.

Perhaps it is a strange quirk of alien biology?
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Hm, if you're going to diverge overly much from its elemental roots, you might want to consider just going the route of a Fey Touched.
Well, the "elemental" use is more to describe the general idea: These are rather broad abilities with a single classification. Thus you would never see a Skyblazer capable of both pyrokinesis or cyrokinesis, yet they also do more than just shoot fireballs or switch off gravity. Thus, you can basically compare them to Eldritchians that are firmly in the Elemental class that don't even touch upon Physical.
Basically, they do not possess super physiology like awesome strength or amazing healing, yet their abilities can basically subvert reality. The "fantastical" elements were just a general idea.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."How are the various artificial intelligences made? Are they still all descended from the meteorite one or have they figured out how to just code them on demand by this point?
Well, while CACHE is ultimately the main supplier of AGIs (even if someone just tries copying one), Einmal is capable of making their own from scratch. Though given AGIs have been given their own form of reproduction, it can sometimes get hard pinning down how one exactly originates. I would also say there's Pseudo-AGIs that run under similar logic as maiden circuits, and through the right events you can get some to outgrow their programming.
In the end however, the majority of AGIs do derive from Felix, thus many of them will naturally conclude themselves as female. It isn't a hard set rule, but in-universe it is acknowledged programming a nascent AGI to be "male" would be easier than raising them. In addition, AGIs don't have physical bodies and even if they're given a mechanical or cybernetic body they can always improve it. So ultimately, they'll just pick which gender they like better if it isn't assigned for them.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."And so begins the string of Call Backs and Shout Outs that is Victor Auron.
Also, let's just assume the every time I say "psychic", I mean "telekinetic".
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousCall Backs or Continuity Nods? Though either way, Eldritchians would never really be tackled solo so perhaps you could change your post to say that was a simulation battle? No new Eldritchians have arrived yet in the year, though the first true Boss Fight with one will be Episode/Chapter 2 (this first one serving to get everyone settled in).
Oh, and if you are within Seed Esper, they would want to minimalize the people involved in getting Hera to calm down. I do have some characters you can interact with though, so no worries.

"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Hmm... noted. I'll be fixing that immediately.
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousI'll give one more day for everyone to post. Besides that, at what Page do you guys think I should wrap up Chapter 1?
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Hell if I know. I wouldn't worry about it, though. Let it end when it ends.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."I'd say let it end once everything in the chapter naturally ends.
Just pretend I wrote something witty here, okay?Sorry about the recent delays, knowing a segment will be short dismotives me. I am working on the latest update right now however, so... Hope that makes up. Regarding locations, in all honesty I'm more of a concept guy. So actually describing locations is a bit much for me. However, this actually works, since I want you guys to have an impact on the world of Destiny Drive: Thus aside from specific locations (which will have guidelines provided in spoilers), you can describe what you see.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."I feel sort of cruel for my choice of action, but in the end, he says he's not a Melty Bomb, but he damn sure looks and feels like a Melty Bomb.
So he had better damn well hope he's a Melty Bomb, or he is probably not going to come back from this.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."I just spent three hours working on one post. I didn't realize how long it takes me to figure out just how to phrase everything and decide what Seth's doing in a given post until now.
Just pretend I wrote something witty here, okay?
So, uh...
Kkut told me I should ask some questions. And there's one that might be at least partially related to something I'll do in the near-future, so...
In the event I end up getting off my ass and making a Skyblazer character who controls slag (so he/she will be purple), any weird-ass naming conventions I'mma have to follow or do I have free reign there?
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."
