What are the non-Pokememe bosses supposed to be?

All of them are capturable. The ones with the Pokeball next to them are those the guy who made the image already had.

Kind of reminds me a bit of MGS Peace Walker in that sense, just without the whole "capture literally everyone from the enemy's side and through Stockholm Syndrome, turn them against their former allies".

And I know this is tiring, but here's the last time I'll post anything related to the Soleil controversy, which is this post explaining why exactly some are so offended by it. Basically, just try to understand why they won't buy the game over it.

Well that post is a lot more coherent than her original ones. I still don't fully agree , but I can better understand her perspective on the matter now.

Anyway, someone needs to incorporate this into the YMMV page because for a while some of the entries were a bald-faced attack on this woman, which is probably against site policy, not to mention a lot of the "It's not actually offensive guise!!1!" side are proving to be as hysterical as the people they tend to complain about. I already tried toning it down some but I don't think it's enough.

I hate that that person is being harassed over the info.

It's pretty much a case of shoot the messenger, even worse given that there's a lot of confusion and conflicting translations.

So it's still the good old "someone dislikes something about a game I like, I have to try to ruin his/her (often her) life". Even though it is absolutely possible and rational to enjoy something while acknowledging its flaws, if you consider that these flaws are not strong enough to overshadow its strengths.

Maybe because this time it is clearly written ?

Also, you can disagree with someone without insulting this person. I am not even sure I am that crazy about the "lesbian conversion" - after all, Camp Straight is a trope, and this could be a reverse. But the drug part, I don't get how people try to justify it as being okay, no matter how you take it.

Also, I might add that I almost expected this debate (the gay part) to pop up one day or another if they kept going with the children system.

I don't think anyone has been justifying the drugging part, at least on this thread and most of the other posts online I've seen.

I have seen some people trying to say that the drugging thing wasn't really that serious and therefore wasn't very bad. Then again, I'm pretty sure those people don't really number that many.

I still hope that the localization can salvage the character. Here's hoping Soleil doesn't become a total black mark on the franchise.

And then there are the people who treat everything about the game as bad because it has something in it they don't like, because there are some saying the game is the worse thing ever just because of Soleil's reports.

But then it's to be expected since Tumblr well is worse than 4chan.

Nobody complained as much about Inigo being threatened into marriage. And that is the exact same kind of patriarchal sexism that is being denounced.

GG is not to be mentioned. It's the thing that shal not be named and it can get you banned. Be careful.

Other than that. I'm just tired of all this crap and just want to talk about the great things about this game. Like the second seal. I didn't know you could class change and not reset your levels but Omega got a Dreadfighter from a Ninja without changing levels.

But I can understand that viewpoint. Honestly, say you have been roofied in your life, how would you supposed to feel if a game featured the PC doing it to someone else while all is shown to be harmless? I completely understand if s/he finds it offensive. Like a black person being offended by Slave Plantation Simulator 1850. Even if it is the best city builder ever created, there are things you cannot get past.

I think a human mind has blocks, but it does not have "always open doors". Instant Awesome Just Add Dragons is a trope, but you can't take it literally, as if adding dragons in the worst game ever suddenly made it excellent to people who like dragons.

Soleil getting a character rewrite ala Henry (and apparently Kyza as well who can be compared to Soleil in a way) almost feels expected at this point.

When I say in a way, I mean the most offensive parts of Kyza's character were removed in localization and I fully expect that to happen to Soleil.

Also read the Elise/Leon supports. Not only did Garon get around, but it seems he just couldn't quit a woman once he slept with her. Though at least Leon reveals that he really was a loving father in the past considering he showed actual affection to Leon unlike his mother. She used him as a tool instead.

And of course there's talk of how other siblings were killed during these mothers Yandere struggles over who gets Garon.
