I always thought that all these discussion threads with only one post hadn't been opened, and I never looked at them.
Now it turns out that some of them have been opened. Seems like it's time to look at all fifty-plus one-post threads on the page.
Topic: I would think a trope called Allergic to Love should be just that. Categories #1 and #2 above seem close to the same thing and could be classed under this trope. Category #3 is not this thing and should not be included.
I think 3 should be a trope, but I agree that it shouldn't be this one. I think a Trope Transplant is called for here. I do agree that 1 & 2 are close enough to be one trope.

Well, let's see how many examples we have of each type first. We might have enough to just split the pages.

Allergic to Love seems like three different tropes getting mixed together:
1. A character has a violent physical reaction to getting physically close to the opposite sex (ex: Tales of the Abyss).
2. A character has a violent physical reaction to the concept of love (ex: Dresden Files).
3. A character's feelings of love, especially in the presence of their crush, make them so nervous that it seems like they’re physically ill (ex: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum).
It could be argued that 1 and 2 are close enough to be the same trope, but whether or not that's true, the description only really seems to describe 3. Should the trope be split up somehow?
