I was browsing an article on io9 about shows people are glad never took off. One poster showed a trailer for a proposed supernatural tv series in the vain of Buffy. It starred Stacey "Fergie" Ferguson of the Black Eyed Peas, Brad Hawkins (VR Troopers) and our old monster fighting, suit switching pal Jason David Frank. danstokurants had some more info:

The series came from the minds of former Power Rangers writers, directors, and producers Douglas Sloan and Ann Knapp (otherwise known as Ann Austen.) Knapp has the series listed on her IMDB page as “Sirens of the Deep.”

In recent years, Jason David Frank has mentioned the pilot in various con appearances and social media postings. Brad Hawkins, speaking in episode 241 of Dan’s Toku Rants, discussed his involvement in the Sirens pilot.

The pitch video is rather poor, I have no idea what the show is about other than that it stars some pop singers, Saban series alum and has some paranormal events. The action seemed okay, Jason David Frank's brief scene was easily the best. "Get the hell off my car!" The make-up work is about on par with Buffy, I'll admit that demon going from human face to Game Face to borderline One-Winged Angel was kind of cool.

Wait... there's already, like, two shows called "Sirens."
