Another personality that I've had the pleasure of following. Definitely would recommend the playthroughs he does with Wowcrendor (and also they podcast they do together).

Jesse was the first Let's Player I ever watched way back in the World of Warcraft Cataclysm days. Haven't watched his videos as often as I used to but I still love his stuff.

And now he and Crendor start a playthrough of Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell

I wonder how long it'll take for Crendor to find Hitler there...

At least a couple of episodes xD

Right now I've mainly fallen off of Jesse's Youtube videos now, mainly because he's only doing super-long open-world games now.

I mainly watch him in the Co-Optional Podcast animations. I never catch the actual podcasts because they're so long, but those animations are comedy gold.

I sometimes download the audio of the podcasts to my podcasting app and listen at work.

I tend to enjoy watching Jesse play the crazy games like the note ones seen on fan Fridays.

He's said before he got a lot of hate in Soma. I haven't watched those but I'm curious if anyone knows why that was.

Mainly because the SGS wasn't really paying attention to the themes of the game (instead talking over a lot of plot information or cracking jokes at the fact that the people that are trapped in a Fate Worse than Death scenario do various things). Among one of the earlier examples was talking about nipples while they were torturing a human-turned-robot by passing electrical current through his body in order to open a door. It's quite a turnaround from their last game (Until Dawn) when they paid so much attention to the story that they got pretty much the entirety of the plot right within like the third episode or so.

I mostly listen to Cox n Crendor in the morning and watch him in the Co-optional animations. When it comes to his lets plays, I've only watched some of Saints Row The Third and the entirety of that dumb Revelations 2012 game. I'm more interested in his videos when he's co-oping with Crendor. They're a blast together.

Yeah, they are. I really like the Scary Game Squad L Ps though, and when Jesse does shorter games (basically ones that aren't The Witcher or Dragon Age).

talking about nipples while they were torturing a human-turned-robot by passing electrical current through his body in order to open a door.

Am I the only person who thought that was hilarious? (Yes, I was the one who added to the Jesse Cox Funny Moments page) Yes, it was cruel but come on. It's not like you're watching a real person be tortured.

Yeah, but it's still awkward to look at >_< The good voice acting of the guy didn't help.

I don't really go to cons. Especially not this one because I don't have the money and I can't just ask my parents because "Taking a week from school to go see some random guy from the Internet in another city" is not a good reason.

Is this guy really worth having his own con? .-. Or is that just nickname for fan meeting or something?

I think it started as the latter and had since become the former.

Well he has over a million subscribers, which is a pretty good opportunity to hold at least a small con. Not to mention he's really involved with TB, Dodger, Crendor, The Completionist, and others, all of whom can also attend the con and draw in more people.

I just don't get it .-. He is one of more obnoxious let's players... Why are people willing to be so fanatic(fannish? fan-anatic? Dunno whats the good way to describe what I mean) about a let's player that he has his own personal con..

...Well, most let's players are at least little obnoxious, but still xD

Jesse's a very personable kind of obnoxious, I think. That probably helps.

He is funny, personable and honest and that's pretty much all that is needed. His massive following has a base though with older Wo W fans though, like TB, and Coxcon brought a lot of these fans together too.

It doesn't help that a ton of other US based streamers come along like TB and Dodger which is rare since its in Europe.

As long as he stays away from bashing Final Fantasy I usually love his antics.
