Random thought on that note, Taco: you could always be an armour tsukumogami, and if there's one place where performing robots would not be out of place... It's freaking Japan. I hear the Bardic school of Miku Hatsune is popular these days.

Him being a tsukumogami could I think work better. Shedjhan is actually a previous character of mine and he did end up with some relic armor by endgame, so it might make sense for Ryu to basically be "born" on the armor's 100th birthday and get raised by Shedjhan.

Sen's profile is finished up.

The greataxe is a two-handed weapon, but the other three weapons are compatible with a shield. Barbarians get a big axe to start with, and it helps the minotaur motif to keep it around strapped to her back or wherever, but I imagine that in terms of actual party composition, given the current buildup, I'll need to do tanking a lot more than we need the DPS it brings.

Also, silverpunk... on second thoughts, can you change one of Midori's names? It sounds a biiiit silly.

Okay, Sen's sheet is finished up with her bonds, ideals and flaws and such. Still need her hermit Discovery, though.

Well, "Midori Aoi" would sound slightly less odd, but it's not that much of an improvement.

So, any suggestions on naming the three peaks of the Mitsumine?

I'm torn between playing either an Ashigaru Ranger or a veteran Samurai Fighter, and it's stalling my character creation.

Any thoughts that might break the tie?

Ryu is affecting an extremely casual demeanor as an icebreaker to get people comfortable with him, same as him not wanting to use honorifics. He got a little agitated with the crack at Taura because he perceived it as a crack about her monstrousness, though, so his speech gets a little less precise. He also isn't hundreds of years old, he's like 20 something. He had to exist inanimate for 100 years in order to actually animate.

Assuming Translation Convention, and as a Californian, that is exactly the accent I would expect a musician or general arts major to have.

We are not in a setting with California, general arts majors or the like ;-; Please, Taco don't do 'my, that sounded kinda fantasy racist' thing.

I was thinking I'd like to make a Human Cleric, if it's not too late. This'd be the first time I've done anything involving D&D, but I did read the 5E rulebook PDF recently.

The game did start... however, there may be time yet for another character. If you make a sheet I'll review it, but I can't guarantee anything... so there would be that risk.

To be fair, we do have one no-show. I think we're fine with four, but I wouldn't say no to seeing Truly's sheet and concept.

I actually forget what got her there, but she has a +1 Cha boost from Actor if nothing else.

Even if you're proficient with chain mail, you have to have sufficient Strength to don it; right?

Not really. IIRC, you need sufficient strength to avoid a move speed penalty.

Taking Actor into account, the points add up.
