Does Not Illustrate: Big Storm Episode

The trope is about the plot being affected by the backdrop of a storm; the picture of a stormy sea doesn't illustrate this at all (plus I can't make out what's the little blob in the middle).

Edit: looking closely, I think it's Appa from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Really doesn't help.

Some kind of "storm warning" weather-channel screenshot would be more illustrative, like this one◊. I also found a more parodic one, too bad it's of low quality.

Trying to help is okay, no matter if you're doing it right or wrong. Trying to help the wrong way after being told you're doing it the wrong way is not okay.

As for the image, I'd like something that says something about having to do with the plot of the episode, rather than a weather forecast screencap. I'm not entirely sure how to show that, though. The Appa picture is the best of all I've seen in the thread so far.

I'd say that puts less emphasis on the weather impacting the plot than their Reaction Shot to some offscreen terror.

Hm. Is it expecting too much of readers to think virtually everyone knows The Simpsons exists, and that it's not usually about being on a boat in a storm? I think maybe not. That's easily the best suggestion so far IMO.
