Honestly, no picture would be probably better. It isn't that easy a trope to illustrate.

Though if I can make a suggestion, maybe we can get something out of this comic◊.

Agreed, the current's even too texty for me. The suggestion is decent...not sure which part would be better.

The last panel would be best.

Well, the last panel alone tends to evoke more Loony Fan. I would have thought of something at least including the first panel (too bad it's so wide...).

Clock is set. I lean toward pulling the current for being overly texty.

Also leaning to a pull. The imagery doesn't seem to add anything to the text.

Current needs to go, no questions on that.

I need to take another look at the suggested comic in its entirety before making a firm decision.

My suggestion would be to trim the first panel to keep just the girl (that's Ms. Marvel, right?) and her speech bubbles (including cutting the scarf behind her), and put it on top of the last panel. It should fit.
